Hi RU-vid! My name's Perseus and I just recently received my college ring from Jostens (4 weeks before my Graduation Day). It took them about 5 weeks to manufacture and ship my ring to the territory of Guam, USA. The ring costs about $2,006.00. 18-kt yellow gold, with ruby and 20pt diamond at the center. On the sides it says Alpha with the scales of justice representing my major "criminal justice" and the honor society I'm in, (Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society). On the other side it says "2012 and the logo of the University of Guam." Then my name is engraved in the inner side of the ring. Hope this helps you when picking a college ring.
