I am the same way !! I do not do art in my bible and usually do not do multiple colors of highlighting anymore either, i just felt weird and guilty and regretted it. I personally enjoy my basic light yellow highlighter and my blue or black or pink pen. thats it. I usually try and keep the pen color the same.... i know so boring hahahah ! I felt very isnpire with new ideas for my Catholic faith. This helps me to grow in my relationship with Our Lord specially when I need to find for a note in reference to a particular topic I am reviewing. Thanks God Bless you.

Thank you for sharing. It's comforting to see someone else who takes notes and "journaling" like me. My "journaling" bible is a place where I live in the word, not necessarily learn theory. I use it for application to my life.

I love adding extra pages! I added a whole extra blank page at the beginning of Psalms. In my journaling bible I had previously Psalms blew up! There was absolutely no space so I knew I'd need extra, even in my interleaved bible.

Ok I totally have to get get some of those tassels for the edge of my bible. That little ark cutout you made is adorable! I completely agree with you about doing full pages of art in the bible. It is beautiful to look at but it covers up God's word which is more important than artwork.

Watching this again. And I think you should get your Bible from your mom rebound through crew and co. They are amazing and did so good with your big Bible. To have that rebound and in a complete boom again would allow you to truly hold and cherish those memories anytime you wanted ❤ just thought maybe it could be a fun video collab again

How do you stay focused on studying and creating? I get some sort of mental block as soon as I sit with my supplies and what type of notes do you take? Is it like apologetic style? Or is it a little bit of everything?

what is the 5 points of calvenism? I think I spelt that right, sorry if I did not. I put strips of tassels along the backside of my bible and I love it.

Gidday Faith. I have a new unused imitation leather ESV Interleaved Bible if you're interested?? I also have a hardcover NKJV Interleaved new unused as well if you want??? I don't remember if I said this or not but thank you for showing me that I don't need all the fancy stationary, tapes, pens, etc to have my bible journaling look nice. And thank you for the tips in previous videos too. I hope next time I see my parents I can use their hot glue gun to add a ribbon marker to my bible. And for preferences, I like imitation leather. I have a soft cover bible and I glued an envelope in the back, but since the back is bendy it's starting to detach. Any advice?

i need bible book tabs to find the books. i've never been able to memorize them in order. how were u able to find books without tabs?

Okay- this might sound like I’m suggesting removing your arms, but have you ever considered giving your “completed” Bible to someone? I heard Tommy Nelson say that each year he starts a new Bible and as he reads it, he makes his usual notes, devotions, etc. at the end of the year, he gives that Bible to whomever the Lord has brought to his attention. Then he starts all over again with a new Bible. At first, that gave me a minor panic attack thinking about “losing” my notes, memories, etc… but then I questioned why I had such a strong attachment to THAT Bible. Had it become an idol? The Word of God is what I want to love- not “MY Bible!” And thanks be to God that I live in a country here I can buy as many “fresh” Bibles as I want! Sooooo….. I did it. Gasp! I gave my Bible to my youngest son when he got married. He couldn’t believe I would give it away! But he grabbed it and started flipping through it like it was full of treasures! (It is!) Anyway- I’m halfway through my “fresh” Bible and I’m kinda of excited to see who the Lord wants me to give it to! I LOVE your videos, your heart and your Love of the Word! Press on, dear sister! And if you ever give your Bible away, be sure to make a video!!❤
