Thank you
I have really enjoyed this series Kelsey 🤩 I enjoy having a faith journal and a daily memory bullet journal. I also have a prayer and gratitude journal. Sometimes I think it’s too many journals but I really enjoy them all.
I love your thoughts on this subject! At the moment, my favourite ways to journal for self-growth are my reading journal and my Shakespeare journal in which I document my reading of "Shakespeare for every day of the year". By the way, did you know the phrase "the world's mine oyster" was first recorded in Shakespeare's "Merry Wives of Windsor"? I needed to write this in my Shakespeare journal, too - especially since you made your video explaining your thoughts on that phrase. 😊 (Loved it, btw!) I also write little summaries to process and better memorise nonfiction books - sometimes analogue, sometimes digitally.
Yes I actually learned that fact when looking up the phrase and all about oysters for that video haha. That is awesome you have a Shakespeare journal!! Sounds wonderful. Glad you’re enjoying the series!
Love this edition Kelseyleigh 🥰 was so excited for this edition and you havnt disappointed!! 😃 I love the idea of bullet journaling but have never stuck to it 😬 haha. But I really like the idea of the reading journal so will give this ago as I love gleaming quotes out of the books I read 📚. Do you recommend having a different journal from my creative journal? Thank you so much for your wonderful videos x
Thank you Jody! I personally incorporate my reading journaling into my creative journal. I think it depends on how intensely you want to create a lot of reading spreads and how much you typically read. If you want to have pages for trackers, challenges, reviews, notes, tbrs, books owned, favorites, author lists, etc, then you might want a separate journal. But if you’re mostly just going to be writing brief reviews or a favorite quote every now and then, it would probably make sense to just incorporate it into your current journal. ☺️ hope that helps! Can’t go wrong either way
You faith journal dot-grid book looks wonderful. Growth Book is something I'll ne looking up. (I hope you're not irritated by me "spamming" your comment section.) I've loved all the videos in this series. Thanks for making them! 😍
Thank you Lori-Louise!!! Never irritated by kind comments. I LOVE them and really appreciate you sharing your thoughts as you watched the video and series!
Your future self section blew me away! I want to be your coffee house journaling buddy and spend time creating spreads together. 😁 And we can invite Brie! Or as part of your Patreon, do you do video classes and create your spreads in real time instead of speeded up?
I create a lot of my memory keeping spreads on my Patreon in real time. I call them chatty journal with mes where I talk through the process more. But I don't have many video classes creating spreads. That's a good idea!
