I know right i was pissed off when they didnt show journey but for like a second…. I mean its freakin journey… but they’ll show taylor swift not singing just stand there for the length of a half time show
I mean the irony of the song… its an San Francisco band but singing about a kid from south detroit…everyone in that stadium got something from the song and fox didnt show it wtf man🤦🏽♂️
The power of positivity and Rock & Roll the crowd chanted “Don’t stop believing” willing their team from a 24-7 deficit to a 34-31 victory into the Super Bowl!!! Bless the faithful, and Journey!! Journey vs. Taylor Swift, give me Journey any day!!
I can only imagine what must it feel like to the members of Journey that an entire stadium full of people - not a Journey concert where it's all fans - knows the lyrics well enough to sing along with them.
Gotta hand it to the singer... This is not an easy song to sing. Perry's voice is so distinct and powerful, and he's hitting all the notes like a champ! It was a great game. I wished they've have showed this, but thanks to you for capturing it!
Arnel Pineda a famous Pilipinos singer discovered by Journey we thanks Journey for giving exposure that pilipinos are great singers.....❤❤❤ I am proud to be.
The song also talks about a city boy born and raised in south Detroit Journey is an SF band at heart and so this was the perfect song for niner and lions fans
@@laurachavez8789 Sure it is, I will let my dad know that he wasn’t raised there. Hopefully a new song can be made about being raised in South San Francisco
Man, the 49ers need to homer these guys! When did the 49ers first win a championship? When Journey had their biggest album! Who plays this halftime show when you’re down 24-7? Journey?! Coincidence? I don’t think so!
Don't Stop Believin, may have inspired NINERS comeback...Huge THANKS to Journey 💞 To all those whining about Steve Perry, we all miss Steve, STILL, let's be more appreciative that Journey and their music can be enjoyed, LIVE thanks to Arnel Pineda. Both Journey and Queen were fortunate to find great new front men...otherwise their band mates would've been forced to retire, before they were ready to hang up their instruments.
I’m glad and very happy to see a Legend Rock Band/Group performing at an NFL game. Not really wanna see Old Snopp and Old Dre. Even tho I listen to Hip Hop a lot. But I grew up to classic bands like Journey and Def Lep, and Bon Jovi. They still ROCK! My favorite Group That I Jam the most Is All of them except Old Dre and Snoop, Eminem. And I Jam to Likin Park, RIP Chester B!
Thank you so much for posting this video! I wish so badly that they had shown half-time on TV. Plus I've never been to Levi's stadium and I love the Niners, so seeing your video from your seats in the stadium and of the field was a real treat too. Super Bowl baby!
@@sheransullivan3853he didn’t replace Steve but continue journey legacy as present lead singer. Steve can’t sing no more those songs he has throat issues and can’t continue travel has hid problem. Arnel is perfect fit after 2 previous lead singers they hire.
@@sheransullivan3853 yeah, but still enjoying the live concert because of Arnel. let’s appreciate that it keeps on going live. we can sing with him, right?
The 49ers and Journey- the perfect match for the San Francisco Bay Area! The sounds of the Bay and the football athletes. Well we didn't manage to win the Superbowl this year, but did win the NFC Championship. That's not a small accomplishment. Next year here come the S.F. Champions! 🏆 🥇 Purdy McCaffrey Tittle and all the boys- Cheers, well done for a great season 👏 👍 we're proud of your hard work and dedication.
Had no idea they played at the half, instead we had to listen to analysts who talked about the same thing they talked about for 4 hours leading up to kick off. Sad
@@michaelpolese3440yep. The reg season games all have halftime performers and they're all along the side instead of the field. Anyone whose been there in person knows there's already tons of people running around the field as it is, during commercials, between plays, etc. sometimes they're in the field but not a large group
I could hear the music in the background of the halftime show. In fact, Michael Strahan kept jammin' to the music on set. I had no idea that Journey was actually performing. I thought it was just a presentation over the P.A.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3DdcBfObvio.html Heartbroken we didn't clinch the Super Bowl title, but proud of the fierce battle we put up. Let's not forget our triumph in the NFC Championship game and the unforgettable halftime performance by Journey. "Don't Stop Believin'" - that's our mantra moving forward.
You still want Perry. He left the band in 1987. Almost 37 yrs ago. And you still want him up to this day. Steve cant even sing his own journey songs anymore 😂
Arnel is a very good replacement but he’s not as good as Steve Perry was. Then again, even Steve Perry isn’t as good as Steve Perry was anymore. Still love the old songs and miss the unmistakable sound of The Voice! 😎
Is it just me or are they lip-syncing (with the exception of the lyric change and the ending)? Arnel's voice is this performance sounds suspiciously like how he sounded on the re-recorded version of Don't Stop Believin' off of Revelation. The last couple of years of them touring, Arnel (probably due to his age) has sounded a little more raspier, which is cool, but in this for whatever reason he sounds a little too clean. I'm not complaining, this performance just seems a little sus to me. But regardless, amazing band!! Neal is one of my guitar heroes!! Arnel is one of my favorite singers (alongside Perry)! And I'm excited for their tour with Def Leppard this summer
Sound's no Good for me journey game over change the name please oreginality absolutely amazing the golden voice perry ever the journey Steve Perry the truth journey anyway 😂
