Every time I watch this video it brings joy to my heart. Journey has always supported the bay area with this song....they did it for the 9'ers and they did it for the SF Giants to get them through the playoffs. Love these guys💞💞
LOVIN' IT! 80's girl here! Lived 3 hours up the hill in Nevada/Placer Counties for 35 years and never got the chance to see my Niners play in person while in California! Journey was our band in HS (class of '83 grad), so a lot of great memories! Thanks for posting this!

We just watch Journey concert last night at the Gulf coast coliseum geez I can’t handle it , too many people it was full capacity, people still in line and concert already started. It’s all sold out tickets. Arnel and Neal Cain and rest did awesome performance.
it's been more than 30 years since SP left, and it's a good thing that there was a successful frontman of Journey, his name is Arnel Pineda, and he has been the lead singer without fail, for 17 years to this day..Without a successful lead singer performing on shows/Live Concerts, usually, the music fades away along with the band, so thanks to this guy who kept the legacy alive!
Oh, Journey!! How much nostalgia. Two of the iconic members of the band, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, presents at the game... but many of us miss the wonderful and glorious voice and presence of Steve Perry, the bas of Ross Valory, the rythm of Steve Smith on the drums and the musical creativity of Gregg Rolie. I imagine all of them playing together (one more time) Lights. Dreaming costs nothing!! 😉 Thank's for shering. ❤

What a joy for him to have been able to cover the songs written, co-written and made great hits by his idol Steve Perry... more than 40 years ago!! Thousands of fans, like me, of the Journey sound created in the seventies and eighties are still in love with his music, his talent and the great quality of his live and iconic concerts. I'm an American Football 🏈 fantic and I am also a big 49ers fan since the mid eighties. I also love AOR bands and have seen Journey support Def Leppard in Dublin and Journey's own concert in Belfast. On the American Football 🏈 side I have seen the 49ers win twice at Wembley ( sorry to all Broncos and Jaguars fans😢). I am really jealous that I wasn't at this game but at the risk of sounding like a spoilt child at 52 years old" You cant have EVERYTHING" Did I also mention that I live in Northern Ireland? I wish that I could have been there with Journey really shifting mood at the perfect time and got my family believing the 49ers would be the winners we just love them.
"Don't stop Believing" is THE most important thing in sports. How many times have we seen improbable things happen only made possible because of hope? This is what makes sports truly magical and authentic in a world filled with phony crap and deceit.
