I still haven’t heard his voice matched in power, scale, pitch, and (especially for a male vocalist), the emotion he evokes. If I ever get to meet those guys personally (I saw them in concert at least half a dozen times), I have to thank them, not just for the music and the memories, but because their music got me more lovin’ than anything else I remember besides alcohol. Steve’s voice was like an aphrodisiac to my girlfriends, and for that I will be forever grateful. 😎👍🏼
This is one of THE best love songs imo. Sang by Steve Perry, Journey have a long history of powerful tearjerkers. They also wrote "Don't Stop Believin" . This always brings me to tears, as it portrays the loneliness of a band on tour, and the joys of reunions.
I defy any guy to come up with something as romantic and heartfelt as this to say to his girl: And being apart ain't easy on this love affair Two strangers learn to fall in love again I get the joy of rediscovering you Oh, girl, you stand by me
This song is often referred to as the greatest rock ballad ever. Ironically most of the original band members didn't want Perry as their singer. Man that would have been a tragedy if that hadn't happened. Great song.
Failthfully keep building to "Circus life" and the guitar riff before "I get the joy of rediscoering You." A Friend once said "it sounds like a Church song. This makes me weep every time I hear it. Even though it's been probably 50'000 times.
The way this song grabs you, you feel it in you, emotionally as well as the way if makes you move......and the depth of the meaning of the song, and IT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU, and gives you hope for having such a relationship.....THIS is why us old farts say today's music sucks. It does not IMPACT you the way these kinds of songs do, and there were so many that did back then. This was "normal." Yes....music this incredible was just "normal" then. Compare that to today's "music." It can't hold a candle to it.
JOURNEY... the band is STILL actively playing today but with a different lead singer. The song is standing the test of time and it has a special meaning, impact, importance of companionship in life and relationships. Such a beautiful intro and spectacular melody throughout the song. The song is an anthem of the meaning of love, which is difficult to define. Simply amazing lyrics.
Steve Perry! The greatest voice in rock history! Great reaction! Thank you…and yes they were holding up lighters during this song. We didn’t have cell phones then and couldn’t take in any kind of cameras. So the three times I saw them I have no pictures. Steve sounded just like this live.

🇵🇦🇨🇴🎉🙏🏽🎸🎼🥺🥺🙌🏽💯🎇🌄🤗😭
Do "Send Her My Love" (the video that's with the band doing a live concert and Steve Perry is in a white jacket)! It is perfectly lined up with a love lost in my own life as if it were made with me and my situation in mind! A first Love that was meant to be but because of my youth I took her for granted and lost the best thing that was ever meant to happened..... outside of my kids of course! I didn't realize how much I truly Loved her until it was too late..... I learned first hand after that day at the "cafe" (actually a pancake house) the saying, "You don't know what you've got.... until its gone."! I know this may be pathetic but, I still Love her as much as I did back then and really miss her. "Send Her My Love" will always mean to me.... "Send ANNE My Love"! Thanks for listening. I have many other songs/artists from back then too that not many (if any) have reacted to yet if any channel is interested.
One of my greatest aspirations in life is to feel that level of love and dedication to a woman. I want to devote my being to her, no matter where I am. Maybe one day that person will come, but I’ve learned with time that looking for her won’t get me there. I have to just _live_ first and then she’ll come along as I do.
You my dear really know how to do a proper reaction video! You watch then react. A lot of so called reaction channels are nothing but narcissists that love the sound of their own voice so much that they interrupt the video every 30 seconds. They totally kill the vibe of the song. You did a great reaction video. You earned my sub! 😊
love this song, remember me when was young. if you want a mexican recommendation could you react to "la maldita vecindad - kumbala" greetings from mexico you got a new subscriber I will recommend to everyone
