Wow! Wow! Thank you for this wonderful concert, I feeling, am one of the crowds, amazing Journey, amazing Arnel fabolous, Cheers🥂Hope I will watch you again, Arnel with. Journey before you fired 😢. Arnel you're one of the greatest live performer in the whole universe! 🔥🎶👏🤟
Fun fact. Arnel has been singing these songs 6 years longer than Steve Perry did. They sound great still. I know So many like to think Journey was Steve Perry, but they were around awhile before him and quite awhile now after him.
We are so proud of our Arnel Pineda! Amazing talent! Amazing and so humble human being. God bless AP and Journey forever. Happy 50th Anniversary Journey! Stay forever Journey... Thank you Rholedz for this amazing video! God bless.
You should be proud. 15+ years as the voice of Journey and he has done an amazing job. He is no Steve Perry, for sure. He is Arnel Pineda. He stands alone.
Fantastic….‘I would argue one of the top 5 touring acts right now. Arnel is amazing with his energy and humble showmanship. He sounds amazing. It’s almost supper human. To run around the stage like that and hit 90% of the notes. I’ve heard he is using autotune. If he is, it’s done so well you can’t tell. Being in his mid-50s its unbelievable. I know Neal and John have been in bitter legal battles and Arnel is sympathetic with John in 2022 & 2023. The magic they have on stage is undeniable and they need to put that all behind them which it seems they are to a larger degree. I saw them in a Hartford in 2023 & they were great. The last release was good song wise but poorly produced unfortunately did not have Dean on drums. I hope they can get back to the studio and at least put a few new songs. They have more gas in the tank as a band. All these Steve Perry being the best talk is not relevant at all. Sure back in 1982 he was at the top of his game. He set the standard. However, in 2023 he could not even begin to sing as well as Arnel. I’m thankful for Journey. I enjoy their music and seeing this all on RU-vid
THey were at the Acrisure Arena last night, a new venue here in Palm Desert, CA, in Palm Springs area, and man, Arnel set that stage on fire, the energy he generated on that stage was totally fire, and his vocal prowess was just so, so good, unbelievable raw talent just how he hit at those high notes to the ethers and back to the audience, I was in awe, full-bodied sound, the band as a whole just kicked a$$! I knew Arnel's been with Journey for a while now, singing lead vocals, and I have to see, and hear him live for myself, and finding out what's all the racket about, and man, I was convinced he could belt out those classic songs from Journey when Steve Perry was the lead frontman. I don't wanna side to who's better or not, but Arnel was right up there, IMO, brought on the show for people who were there jam-packed last night singing along with Arnel. And those Journey songs are hard to sing! LOL! Love watching people having a good time, high-energy, in their moment, moving, dancing, singing along with the songs played on stage by Arnel. People were all over, drinking, merry-making, wondering where they're from, all of them, but enjoying the show for sure, met people from Arizona, but I was in the zone for myself, absorbing, and thankful! Yay!!! And yup, thank you, Journey! And also, a big yes, a big thank you to you Arnel, you might not know it, but you rock, man, I commend you, I salute you, all that! Peace! 🙂
Wow. Arnel is still killing vocals after 16 years, amazing. Journey sounds amazing for sure. I'm glad to see Deen playing drums again with the boys. Deen is an incredible drummer, and he certainly can sing. I'm glad he conquered his demons and is back on track. This group of musicians is simple amazing.
RU-vid don't give justice to Arnel's performances, you gotta see him live. Huge difference. I was in this concert and he kicks ass. thanks for the video though.
@Vincent Munoz Totally agree. But of course not everyone gets that opportunity so these videos are appreciated for sure. I was in awe seeing them perform live especially Arnel. Hope to see them again.
Yes, I saw the band Journey and Arnel last night for the first time (ever!), and he's been with Journey for 16 years (?), at the new Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA. Arnel was rocking it, that epic full-bodied solid wall of sound being on the show live you witnessed one of the great concerts show ever. The audience, the band themselves, and Arnel's total delivery vocally these old songs was alive once again, mesmerizing to the core! Arnel hitting those high notes, man, gotta give the man respect, almost like hearing a record, awesome to watched people in the jam-packed arena just dancing, singing, drinking, enjoying the moment of the show! Especially if you knew the words to those songs, man, you got yourself a hill of a fun time with a cool drink in your hand. LOL! That's all I have to say, but rock on, Arnel, stay blessed! 🙂
Thank you for such an amazing video Rholedz. I appreciate you. Just hearing Neal call Jon his brother made me kinda teary. I'm not sure if it was genuine, or if they're getting along at all. Still, it was just nice to hear. I truly hope JC and AP do not quit. I'm praying ❤
Seems like the chemistry between Schon and the rest of the band especially Cain is back again. So glad to see this. Hope they tour Europe soon. Number one band on my bucketlist.
RHOLEDZ, you have the best concert footage on YT. Really appreciate the concerts you share with us. Thank you. Big time Journey fan here, they are clicking on all cylinders.
Wow amazing it was my first time hearing the God Guitar Neal Schon introduce his legend band mates 😊 amazing journey 👏👏👏 thank you for sharing this awesome concert it was amazing performance conggratulations ♥️🇵🇭🇺🇲🎵🥁🎸🎹🎤🎶there on 🔥🔥🔥 Arnel Pineda wishing more concert and more ❗❗❗job well done 👍👍👍 mabuhay...
Thanks for great video. Love Arnel. Saw them in Tampa 2022 was awesome. It's amazing his energy and voice concert after concert that is alot on your voice but he does it. Major thumbs up to him.
Nice kicks Arnel! Btw, great to see Schon going to Jonathan(calling him brother when he introduced each one) they both nod at each other, and the usual fist bump between Arnel and Neil
Arnel...keep your head high knowing you are a class act and forget let the band drama with Neil Schon and his wife. Steve Perry deeply respects you and he knows what you are going through.
Arnel has kept this band alive for 17 years. A shame the pain this band puts him through. He seems like such a pure and humble soul. You would have to be a true POS to piss that guy off. *cough* Neil Schon *cough*
Could be a possibility as the band have been introducing some vocals other than Arnel's in their concerts. A subtle hint maybe? Nothing but kudos to Arnel, versatile singer and one of a kind talent.
Arnel has sacrificed his voice for Journey singing these difficult songs longer than the original singer. I hope he has been properly compensated through the years.
@Rholedz, Thanks for sharing your nicely taken video, you must have a great $seat and a very good camera, I love it! ******I just wish Neal/Jon should consider adding or revising some of the lists songs they have, it's their 50th Anniversary, and the least that they could do is add some of the great songs of Arnel, originally sung by AP in the last 3 albums ( Revelation, Eclipse, Freedom)For sure, Arnel would have been more inspired!!! But it's too late now, as the Freedom 2023 Tour is nearly over !! **The Journey band is extremely lucky to have recruited Arnel Pineda, who remains loyal to the band as a successful frontman for 16 years~ **- AP added more life to Journey's success when AP joined Journey in 2007, at the time that Journey's popularity was floundering ever since Steve Perry left, and the arrival of AP, he revived theJourney band with success after success on its Concerts, all over the world where Journey had never been before! ( as SP does not like to do concerts back then in Europe, according to the band's interviews) ***How many 70's and 80's rock bands are as hot as Journey? and have even reached 50 years!! lots of them ( rock bands) have failed! ..Maybe one reason was that Arnel Pineda has that versatile vocal ability, endurance, young looks, and superb energy and charms to capture the crowds on the stage and gives an incredible performance each time! Hats off to Arnel Pineda! Happy 50th Anniversary, Journey!!
Whoa. I wasn't sure if I wanted to see these guys hearing about all of the infighting, but watching this puts them back on my bucketlist! So stinkin' good! Now if they'd go back in the studio with an actual outside producer willing to go head-to-head with them on what's included. That last record had some real high points but it was bloated with filler! They can do so much better (as proven by the good songs).
Amazing!!! Excellent video RHOLEDZ ,!! I just finished watching the whole show. Watching from Florida. Enjoyed it so much. I follow your Journey posting all the time. Hopefully, I will see another tour with Arnel. He so amazing?🤩🎤🎼🎹🥰🥰🥰. Thank you so much. God bless🙏
The sound systems are much better than in the 80's but back then the casual fan had to go to the restroom to talk during songs they didn't know. GOD I miss those days.
I love Journey and have since the very beginning with the "ORIGINAL" lineup, but let there be no mistake, Neil Schon "IS" Journey. What he says, goes. No questions asked A very typical ego maniac that maybe has earned that respect but very much treats his bandmates as second class citizens. A great musician but not a great person when it comes to personality issues.
@@francoa.9646 That's true but then again, he needed someone that sounded like Steve Perry to carry on the legacy. Interestingly enough, it was when Perry joined the band in 1978 that they took off and started producing some of their best hits that are still today played in concert. Furthermore, when Perry left in 1997 that was the end of the "hit parade". The vast majority (if not all) of the songs they currently do in concert come from the seven albums that Steve Perry wrote sang on. That's not a bash on Neil, that's just the truth.
Saw them in Greensboro. The singer is really special. Really enjoyed it even if my favorite band Toto mailed it in that night. Journey more than made up for it.
Arnel went GREY, LATER????? SAY IT AIN 'T SO. Babe, if you're a guy, you can play the boyish card, pretty much forever...BUT NOT GREY. GREY IS.....OLD. Rock is, FOREVER YOUNG...BUT NOT GREY.
Really glad u didn’t waste the money you spent on the experience doing something stupid like looking thru your phone the whole gig - oh wait. I never ever understand the people who do this. Film a song then get totally into the gig ffs
👍👍🇨🇱 Steve Perry's incredible vocal range unfortunately damaged his voice and apparently that of those who came. Still, it's been a real gift to hear Steve and all the guys after him who with great level have kept the sound of Journey alive. 👍👍🇨🇱
A esta banda la hizo Steve Perry y como el no hay 2 ni lo habra y lo peor que lo quieren imitar, todos los integrantes de una banda son reemplazables pero los vocalistaa jamás,j jamás.
Yeah. I hear him struggling quite a bit. Especially noticeable on the bridge and chorus of 'Escape'. They should just let Deen sing certain songs as his range is still phenomenal.
