One can critique the lyrical content of this one to some extent and I wouldn't be surprised if that's why it was relegated to the Japan bonus....but musically this is one of the more gorgeous songs Journey has cut, Jonathan continues to prove why he's the father of the power ballad....and Arnel's vocals here are among the finest he's ever laid down. So in those regards it's a shame many won't hear this one....
They did this on Arrival's Japanese counterpart and re-released "I'm Not That Way". This,........an awesome song.......Arnel is now JRNYs logest serving vocalist..................
Wonderfully written by J Cain and sang amazingly well by Arnel Pineda-such a beautiful song, full of emotional passion, it's surprising that this awesome song is not included in Freedom Album circulated around the world except for Japan. It's about time Journey made more new music for AP to sing to showcase his versatility in singing ! Great job, Journey.. Bravo Arnel!

This new CD from journey is one of their best the guitar playing from Neal schon is killer arnel Pineda has an incredible voice he may not be Steve Perry but he,s not trying to be and it shows on this CD that I,m playing over and over it,s such a shame that they didn,t + this song to their CD because just like this song all of the songs are top notch freedom should go double or at least triple platinum because this is what I call music pop artists take some fucking notes please take some fucking notes from 1 of the greatest bands of all time
Thanks a million for posting, I just can’t believe Neal left this gem out of the album heard him on an interview mention this bonus track “ one of Jon’s softie” he said, it’s not on the Journey channel too 😢. Thank you Jonathan for such wonderful words and thank you Neal for keeping the Journey alive and thank you Arnel for your lovely voice and commitment. This is coming from a guy that love Perry but Journey is Journey and it’s bigger than any individual. God bless all 🙏
I'm glad that I lived during a time of the most amazing music ever. These songs take me back to a time when I was still trying to find myself and they contributed to me becoming the person that I am today.
much better than two thirds of the proper release...... bonus track? another bizarre decision...... how about an album remix..to sort out the three or 4 horribly mixed songs with wierd vocal fx...... anti covid lockdown lyrics.... maybe thats why its not on the world wide release??? Heard these a while back, was not impressed....journey, is just a cover band....plus Arnel cant sing like SP...well no one will ever be able to actually sing like SP...Arnel is struggling right now, the audience do the singing at these concerts now, because Arnels voice is not Good these days...there another group who sings journey songs and omg they are AWESOME...I am hoping they come to my state soon....
