Takayama is a beautiful historical town in the mountainous region of Japan. In my last two videos we explored the food, the shopping, and sights of the city. 3:56 The lady says "osuwari,osuwari" which means "sit down" to this Shiba doggy in Japanese🦮. 4:56 Strawberry mochi(daifuku)🍓. I like red bean paste in it. The filling between mochi peel and strawberry that you ate is white bean paste with condensed milk. 5:35 The seasonal green grass is mugwort ,"yomogi". 12:57 Beef sushi and gohei mochi. Special food of this region👍. Now is the season of plum blossoms,strawberry,mikan(tangerine) and chocolates of st. valentine day in Japan! Enjoyed this vlog💯👍💘!

This was my first time trying Daifuku, and it became our favorite sweet in Japan so far. Sooo good! I'm happy you enjoyed the vlog! Can't wait to post more of Japan 🙂

@@FRANCISCARUSOworld That was a great adventure to you😊. Generally strawberry mochi is called "ichigo daifuku". I remember this sweet was created in the mid 80's or early 90's. Now we can find different kinds of fruits daifuku such as mikan ,shine muscat grape,kiwi and fig in it🍊🍇🥝🍌🫐! BTW I love yukimi daifuku of LOTTE.
