Journey - Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' - ft Sara Loera - Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy
Which of you were around when Journey released their hit "Touchin', Lovin', Squeezin'" back in 1979?
Written by Steve Perry, the tune became Journey's first top 40 hit in the United States.
The song was also later covered in 1995 by Dream Theater. I'd love to hear if you guys have also heard that version and how you thought it compared.

I heard the Dream Theater version before Journeys’ original song- I think the original is much cleaner and smoother, but dream theater know how to rock it harder! Love her singing - again, awesome vocalist!

Excellent job to an absolute bearer of a song. Makes you realise what a freak SP was. He was one in a million - think also SWEET AND SIMPLE and FEELING THAT WAY. The heights he use to reach in songs was amazing. Just like Paul Rodgers use to do - think WILD FIRE WOMAN - the ending - “shiver and shake - “straight on down the highway” etc - gives you goosebumps. Steve Perry had this ability as well - the ability to powerfully close the song.
