Journey to Helsingfors / Helsinki in Finland. Swedish commentary.
Various shots of the quay at Skeppsbron in Sweden with the SS Brynhild in dock being loaded with luggage and passengers going aboard. Swan with two juvenile cygnets and some ducks on the water beside the ship. The ship starts off out of the dock and passengers wave goodbye to those on the docks.
Shot taken from the bridge of the ship showing nose, as it makes its way up the narrowing river between fir tree-clad banks. Various shots of the crew at work on the bridge. Identification signal flag is hoisted. A man comes aboard from a small launch and goes into the bridge. Another man takes over the steering of the ship.
We see the SS Vikingsland passing on its homeward journey. General view of the village of Svenborg as we pass. View of Helsingfors / Helsinki from the river.
Various shots of the town of Helsingfors - shoppers and traders in the market place, trams, the Swedish Embassy, the President's Palace, the Senate Palace / Main Place, statue of Alexander II in front of the Storkyrkan, Department of Internal Affairs, University (both designed by Russian architect Engel), Hotel Kamp, statue of Johan Ludwig Runeberg,
Nice street scenes showing people walking along streets, past shops. Display of handbags and fur scarves (complete with animal heads still attached - yeuch!) in a shop window. Statue group known as 'The Blacksmiths' in Alexander Street. Elevated shots showing the war damage to the Guard's Barracks and Russian Legation. Shots of modern buildings built since the war. Baby in a pram / pushchair, crying.
At Brunnsparken we see men at work on rebuilding tramlines. Panning shot of the city and river. Shots of women workers building houses in a new part of the town. A 60-year-old woman bricklayer is seen at work and carrying a hod. Modern apartment buildings. Commuters on trams. View of the harbour with ships in dock.

Probably it's the pronounciation, this commentary is probably been done by a Finn, the accent are all weird and not swedish

@@yubfer This doesn't sound at all like a Finn speaking.

@@PaulVinonaama Really? Well I could be wrong, I'm just an Italian that studied a bit of Finnish, but the accents made me think of a finn

@@yubfer Moreover, jesperiz is likely a Finn, so if the commentator were a Finn (or Fenno-Swede), it might actually make it easier for jesperiz to understand. To my ear, the commentator's accent sounds like typical for the Swedish some decades ago, though I am not a real expert either.

@@PaulVinonaama Thank you for the explanation, the accent thing really disoriented me.
