The Biblical Enigma Unveiled: Tomb of Jesus Discovered | Parable 

I’ve watched many of Simcha Jacobovici’s documentaries on his TV series, “The Naked Archeologist” and I’ve come to the conclusion that his life mission is to discredit Jesus, while making tons of money doing so. How have I’ve come to this conclusion? Well, after watching his documentary that came out about finding the lost tomb of Jesus’ Family AND his book ‘The Lost Tomb Of Jesus’, many professional people that worked on the documentary came forward and testified that Simcha‘s so called “facts” were not factual at all and that the viewers were lied to and duped by Simcha. The archeologists he had working with him excavating the tomb, came angrily forward and said that Simcha twisted what they said, and turned what they said, into facts, when it was VERY far from being factual or even ONE BIT truthful. Simcha downright lied. They were also accused of stealing one of the bone boxes that, according to Simcha, would have proven the Tomb was of Jesus’ family, because the “stolen” bone box was supposed to have been that of, James, the brother of Jesus, when, in fact, there was another bone box found and documented, but it was broken. They ALL said that there was indeed another bone box found, but IT WASN’T inscribed with James’ name, in fact, the box was broken and it had NOTHING inscribed on it, whatsoever.They were were furious that Simcha accused them of stealing it, too and how he used different clips pieced together to show that they were stating facts about different things when in actual fact, they were not! I really loved watching Simcha‘s documentaries, but no longer. I trusted his scientific expertise and evidence, but no longer. If he lied here, what other lies have he told us. All his creditabilityis now lost to me and irs sooooo darn disappointing. He is nothing, but a lying, money hungry, grub that’s doing his best to convince people that Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, was married to Mary and had children (who would care if He did marry and have children, but it’s NEVER BEEN PROVEN!). So much for REAL Scientific evidence, because if the scientist is lying, you cannot trust them. All we want are true scientific, hard facts, not lies! Shame on you Simcha!!! If you don’t believe me or want to watch the documentary for yourself where these men tell their side of the story and how Simcha lied about what they said, It’s called “The Jesus Tomb Unmasked Refuting The Lost Tomb of Jesus Documentary”.

I remember a family who named their children the same names as my step dad's sons. Whether this is what happened here no one knows. Or, maybe someone, filled with the devil, years ago, set out to do an evil deed in trying to discredit Jesus and to cause his followers to fall away. Either way rest assured followers of Jesus Christ, "Jesus has risen from the grave, and He is seated at the right hand of the Father. A-N-D He has taken His body with Him!" Nuff said!

Several of Jacobovici's films have sparked controversies. The 1994 film, The Plague Monkeys resulted in the closure of a level 4 lab in Toronto, Canada. James, Brother of Jesus highlighted an ossuary in the private collection of an Israeli antiquities collector, Oded Golan. Golan was accused of forging part of the inscription on a 2,000-year-old bone box/ossuary. Jacobovici and Hershel Shanks, the now-retired editor of Biblical Archaeology Review (BAR), stood by their story. After 7 years in an Israeli court, Golan was exonerated.[21] The claims made in The Lost Tomb of Jesus are still being debated by scholars.

I have to say I was blown away by this video. It is so profound, it is healthy to look at this with a modicum of skepticism. Up until they were being told to crawl out of the tomb, I think I was sold nearly 100%. But a few things at the end did bother me. If the builders were so anxious to cover over the tomb, so they could finish building, why did they put in cement walls with a built-in ladder down to the tomb? That wasn't cheap. They just paved over the other tomb, which actually HAD boxes still in them. And it is clear it was actually open for a decent amount of time. Enough time that the locals were dumping religious texts in there, and kids were going in and out... that means people had moved in, kids were exploring, rabbis were dumping, this thing open for a while. The final thing that made me choke a little is the 'directed by' our explorer credit, and then... James Cameron. You know he wants a big finish. Does anyone remember that awful Discovery Channel 'documentary' about 'Real Mermaids'? They actually made that thing look like a REAL documentary, but everyone was actors, and it was all fiction. I believe that the terrible Mermaid thing was made around the same time. The tragedy about all of this is even if this entire documentary was 100% honest, because of the taint of people like James Cameron and orgs like Discovery Channel, the world will discount it. One way to make sure no one will believe you when you cry wolf for real; surround it with fraud. I am still willing to give this the benefit of the doubt, assuming there isn't an equally long video somewhere fact-checking all of this and pointing out how everything is just wrong. This is deep, deep stuff, important, it needs to be looked at carefully. Nevertheless, I was mesmerized.

It's interesting that the authorities show up and demand this tomb to be resealed when they themselves have already desecrated it when they emptied it in 1980 and thereby leaving it an inactive burial site They did this on the pretense that local kids might fall down the shaft while it was open when there's at least a dozen or more people standing there if you count the camera crew when they themselves made sure that access to this tomb was still possible Now they only do this if they have reason to believe that there's still more they can learn from it The fact that they kept it and it's only access point underground means they didn't want anybody else going into it So the question is what are they trying to hide and don't want others finding out.

That symbol over the Talpiot tomb is the same symbol that policeman Lonnie Zamora saw in a landed Ufo while persuing a speedy car in New Mexico in the 60's.

They find the greatest tomb in history and put an apartment complex on it.🤔

The least believable part of this is that a tenant board approved something.

Why didn't they do a dna test an all the ossuaries to determine whether they're all related or not? Why do dna test on just the two with the names of meriamne and jesua alone? This doesn't make sense.

It was Jesus's final parable. He says " Mother, this is your son. Son this is your mother. " The son obviously being Jesus, and his mother, but also Mary being a mother to James, and James being her son. This was a parable about love.

The one thing you have all overlooked is that the bones of 'Jesus' did not show signs of crucifixion otherwise if they had it would have been mentioned in the programme.

I love when all the Christian representatives in this video are all polite and guarded about information listed that may invalidate the foundational basis of their expounded beliefs. You know the way they smiled acting all polite.

I spent a lot of time watching and re-watching these videos a year or so ago. I found them to be consistent and informational. I don't feel that these videos prove anything. They also don't dis-prove anything. It still makes perfect sense to me especially the period between Jesus, James & Paul!

A census may be able to answer how many Josephs had sons called Jesus within that area, they're not very unusual names. There is a passage in the bible that states that Jesus was known as 'Mary's son' as he was classed as a bastard being that his parents weren't married at the time of his birth. Also, as there is no exact date for this skeleton we could be a hundred years either way of THE Jesus.

It doesn't matter where Jesus tomb is. There could be another family member with a name of Jesus, nobody knows what's the real story of these bones. Let me state my own theory: one of Jesus' brothers had a son named Joseph named after their father who also named his grandson Jesus. It is common even to this day to give to descendants name of their ancestors.

Hmm… I watched a more recent one when they checked the catalog of names of ossuaries out of 100 they had in there… 20 had Maria on there… 1 out of 5 … lol she said it was rare…

The fact he used the same metal blade to collect samples from two or three different ossuary's would invalidate any results as there could be cross contamination. Why did he even bother to separate them after the fact lol and also made the lab coverings even more funny! And as for 1:40:35 someone should tell the props department that bones are held together with tendons lol so your reconstruction well it's hilarious. That lower jaw haha.... way to funny!

Archaeology should talk to scholars of Early Christianity. Synoptic gospels were written in the second part of the 1st century and there are standards used by scholars to even say if what is written by the gospel writers are most likely a product of their bias or likely objective. So to use the gospels as a historical document and cross reference archaelogical findings with them is a little simplistic. The archaeologists here also seem too eager to make a discovery, and this eagerness appear all throughout
