I think Fran is the kind of woman that makes even a gay man feel aroused around her ! What not to love about her ? she is intelligent , she is beautiful , she has a great sense of humor , she is unique and has that special voice ! Plus she has a great taste at how she dress up ... Personally if i had the smallest doubt i am straight and met her i would stop doubting myself right there ! she is a walking fire !!!!
Goodness!!! Joy Behar is the worst interviewer ever. She does not listen to what is being said & consequently misses the point all the time. If I were the interviewee, I would say to her face, "Joy, please pay attention to the narrative. " Nothing is more insulting than for them to repeatedly reiterate what they have said earlier because the darn interviewer is so inattentive.
It is a great relief when a person can finally out....my grandson held it inside for so long, I saw unhappy he was, I was so afraid he might do something terrible to himself, I kind of knew but for a few years never said anything, finally I asked him if he was gay, he said yes...sadly he and his dad have not spoken in a few years....but now I see a happier person....he knows grandma and his friends just accept it..kind of like ...yeh ok so whatever...young people don’t think like they did in the old days..it was taboo then....now people think so what....
As a gay man, I actually give points to Joy for saying that. In the gay community, we absolutely believe that bisexuals exist, but very often, people newly admitting their attraction to the same sex will say, "I'm bisexual" rather than "I'm gay."
@@AndrewMacLaine true, also gay men that want to be more accepted say they're bi...its like a gay dude not wanting to bottom because to them being the bottom make them less of a man.
I so totally love Fran Drescher, from the Nanny to Happily Divorce...I love that she is so open about many subjects that have been given such a bad name...as we gear up to the future and what is good to say, what is good to be or not to be, I have allowed myself to be more confidant in every thing I ever was involved in and not regret my actions or behavior to be a bad thing rather than an experience with growth and respect towards everyone I have ever had a relationship with. I love you Fran.
It's not my first time, but I agree, Joy is horrible interviewer for the simple fact that she doesn't listen to what they are saying. Sort of the first rule in interviewing someone is LISTENING to what they are saying.
Wasn't sure if I liked the show after first viewing but watched the pilot several times and then tonight's broadcast sold me. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. They have another winner. Thanks for posting this.
it takes a lot of courage to be as strong as they are and to after all keep being friends. I do not agree tha she is fake, she laughs like that, I know people who laugh like that and thought they faked but no, they are real and even more than many. She is beutiful inside and outside for her determination and courage and he hurt her very bad but he has to be a strong not so bad person for her to keep on loving him and being friends after so much. Good people they are.
"Nobody twalk! It's great that they can get through the whole divorce thing & remain friends,AND then bring something positive out of it! Really positive, affirmative stuff,in all the doom & groom!
Don't know how common it is, but I'm still great friends with my high school sweetheart after over 30 yrs, us dating off & on for over 10 yrs. She & her husband have even double dated with me & my boyfriend. She even asked me if I would donate sperm when they were having trouble conceiving. (They didn't end up using my sperm though because fertility treatments shortly afterwards gave them triplets.) As Fran said, we're adults about it. I'm glad we didn't marry; she might never have had triplets
Great interview. Joy is such a terrific host and comedian. Love her little, personal, funny asides like "I have some numbers of people in the building". So warm, witty and natural...
Happily divorced is a good show to stream ,it's so strange and selfish how he never told her he was gay when he and everyone clearly knew he was and poor Fran didn't , I felt sorry for her but I love how close and loving they were to eachother
Back in the times, there were a lot getting married at 16 and up. They are in show business. There's a difference in that area as well. My mother in the 40s was married at 15. No big deal. Now, it's suppose to be a big deal?? My husband was 21 and I was 18 way past my maturity cause I did put myself through school; no mommy; no daddy. My sister was 16 and we married the same day but her husband didn't keep his promise. BUT she did go forward and get her diploma without him and went onto college. Made lots of money in which her new husband drained her and a husband of a age older takes it too cause mine drained my money. They had it made! So it don't matter! I believe in more True love at young than when you get older but that's because it hasn't happened to me after 55. And financially, I'm fine and no man will take any more from me.
I feel like they are modelling a very healthy relationship. And Fran did not blame him. Stonewall only happened in 1968, but they would have been kids.
Why does Joy Behar exist? For claiming to be a comedienne, she is sans humor, & for being an educated women, she had no clue what 'subsequent' means. Unbelievable.
Well, if you can't get it up for Fran Drescher, then your equipment doesn't work -- gay, straight, bi, whatever. (Although if she talks during sex, the voice might make it difficult ...)
damn what a downfall... i mean i can't even imagine the things they went through when he said he was gay...they were married for how many years 10 or maybe 15. i am glad they got through it. hey show is alright too. Tichina arnold is funny as hell!
