She ages so gracefully, she still looks great. I accidentally found this show on youtube one night last month by watching a random episode, and binge-watched every episode. I really am sad to see it cancelled. Bring it to Netflix as reboot! :D
She's SO beautiful. So very very beautiful. She's been through real live hell & looks like an epic Angel & she is so sympathetic, funny, nice & strong. What a rolemodel ❣️ & also they really seem to be great friends. Their story is incredible. I can't wait for the next season #LoveisLove 💚
TLC is showing The Nanny and Happily Divorced every night at the moment. Heaven! I particularly enjoy the gentleness and affection that beats at the heart of Happily Divorced. I hugely admire Fran and Peter for transforming their combined joy and heartache into such wisdom and delight for the rest of us.
I just love Fran and Peter. They have such an amazing story and good energy creating together. I have the Nanny series... now I have to get the Happily Divorced series! My daughter grew up on the Nanny, then she told me about Happily Divorced. How could I have missed this!!! I wish the series went longer. The writing is so brilliant. It takes a lot to make me laugh at anything on TV... so much of what's written is so predictable. However, these two series get me laughing every time! The way they are written and delivered is just brilliant! THANK YOU FOR THESE CREATIONS!
Fran & Peter are such great people & have been through alot together.I have such respect for Fran to keep her positive attitude through the hell She's endured God bless her..Love her acting skills...
I just found this series Happily Divorced. I'm so happy to see Fran's character again very much like from the Nanny, sexy with fabulous fashion and decor! I even love her dishes in the sitcom! Fran is like a Jewish Marilyn Monroe. Can I say that? They are both beauties. I never tire of Ms. Drecher's beauty and comic wit. She's perfection! 💖
I'm in love with Fran ! She's my hero I watch the nanny every night and I've seen every episode. My favorite show ever. If I'd ever got to meet her I'd give her a big hug and tell her what a wonderful person she is. My dream is to be in a tv show or a movie with her. She is so funny !
Unfortunately I saw it to late but now I’m hooked hope it gets picked up again someday soon . I would have stayed with him he’s wonderful their wonderful.
There's nothing more loving you can do than provide a safe and non-judgmental space for your partner to realize their true sexual orientation. Some people are truly hidden from themselves, buried in layers of parental and societal expectations, projections, defenses, fears, experiences, memories and stereotypes.
TV Land please bring this show back on the air. This show should have not been canceled. Its a very, very funny comedy. With parallels between this and The Nanny, with guest stars from that show its a very smart way of tailoring the show. This show should come back.
I was "happily divorced" after a 20-year partnership. It took Mark and I a full year to figure out how to turn an intimate relationship into something that was friendship only. And we did it! It was a great friendship because of the history we had shared over those 20 years, Then Mark partnered again, and his new partner was threatened by the friendship Mark and I had and as a result Mark cut me out of his life completely. It was as if I had died. He just killed me off. I still mourn that loss and often wonder if he does as well.
I love the Nanny and I watched it in the 90's and watch it now day every week night! It puts me in a great mood after watching the News which is mostly. sad! mostly
Wonderful people. That's how the shows should be: with a clear social message, with responsible people with SOMETHING in their heads, not like a lot of the trash you see on the TV Channels.
She's been an LGBTQ ally for many many years. On RU-vid, Matt Baume has an amazing video about her and how, even way back in the 90s, she was a supporter. She never made fun of or made a big deal about a character being gay. A truly good person thru and thru! Love her!
You just think they're quirky before they come out. And because you love them, you accept their quirks into the package they present themselves as. It sometimes takes a long time to see.

‘Love is love’ is not real, a pedophile will say they just want to ‘love’ children...that isn’t love that’s sexual abuse. An adulterer will say they fell in love, but it’s not love, it’s lust. Love is not ‘following our hearts’, Love is truth, it’s doing what is best for the other person even when that’s not what you might want. Love is following Jesus, because his word teaches us to truly love, not just to listen to our feelings, the Bible says the heart is deceptively wicked, who can know it? Which means people don’t understand their own desires, and so we shouldn’t follow them so much.
