So basically the gorosei except for Saturn (who physically moved to egghead) were matrixing (fighting remotely) due to Imu’s ability to teleport them via the pentagrams (hence why Imu could be damaged as well) - that’s why they ended up in the hall and that’s why the gorosei who teleported could telepathically communicate and regenerate. Saturn washing up on shore means he was able to be destroyed and the conqueror’s Haki sealed the deal and kept him from being able to put himself back together.

I have a crazy theory. I think Joy boy is luffy. Luffy will one day time travel to the past and becomes joyboy from elbaph. As such he will know about the future event and by that time he will be crazy strong. So war with 20 kingdom will be done by luffy as joyboy.

I'm now convinced that elbaf will be blown up by imu before the strawhats can get there or a little bit after they arrive and that will signal the true start if the final war. I’m thinking the Gorosei are manifestations of Imu’s will but Joyboy’s will is so much stronger that that it over powered them, causing Imu tremendous pain. What if this type of haki requires your life as forfeit? What remains of a person's will passed into an object. Maybe that's why joy boy's knot was so powerful. I feel like it would be cool for the black blades as well. Mihawk's ancestor or someone like ryuma. They dedicated everything they had in a last stand. I think the reason we never see Imu is because Something Joyboy did was so powerful it affected Imu's permenant form and thus Imu must hide themselves or they will never be taken seriously. I theorize The Gorosei are the remaining betrayer kings that serve Imu still.

I think Imu will have the devil fruit that is 99.99999% a complete mind 💣💣. It's been in the spotlight for the entire series😂. So Its just a feeling I can not seem to shake once it crossed my mind. I believe that Imu betrayed Joyboy and sided with the 20 kingdoms. He or she did it in exchange for the 20 kingdoms to appoint Imu the unknown king of the world. I think the copy of the Nika fruit was missing one important thing, the actual will of Nika it's self. It instead took the will of Imu instead which is portrayed by the darkness of Imu's betrayal of Joy boy and his people.
