All he ever said was we gotta play harder but Dlo, Rui, and Reaves should’ve been put in actions to get them easier shots. These aren't mutually exclusive concepts. The construction of the roster could be as masterfully done as possible AND it could still not be good enough. Jokic is one of the best players all time at this point, Murray is possibly the greatest playoff riser/closer we've ever seen and MPJ will probably become one of the best players in the league, then you have Aaron Gordon who still has the talent to be the star people thought he would be. The roster that Denver has is borderline unfair. The Lakers should actually be commended for how the series went even though there are no moral victories.

He didn't take the blame in Miami who else scored 8 points and was outscores by a bench player oh the minimal guys that didn't play he played he started games and finished them. It's the coach's job to prepare the team for every game. It's the coach's job to teach players to box out the opponents so they don't get as much offensive rebounds. It's the coach's job to advise Huchimura not to run like a WR after opponents take a shot, instead uses his size in the box to grab a rebound or two. It's the coach's job to tell LBJ not to lob the ball full court and causes turn overs. It's the coach's job to teach players, "discipline".

Have you seen Darvin try to draw a play on a timeout? He physically can’t draw up plays. Can’t lead the team. And lost the trust and confidence of the locker room. That’s why he got fired, not because he lost 4-1 in the playoffs.

If a coach is running lineups up 10 points that have played 0 minutes during the season in the playoffs against the reigning champs is not a coaching issue, dont know what to tell you. Also not running a center when AD sits & jokic is in is a huge mistake even if Hayes is a below average player. Also not matching AD & jokic minutes is a massive mistake no other coach would make, especially since AD was never in foul trouble. Having dinwiddie play any 2nd half minutes made no sense. He didnt contribute offensively or defensively at all. Vincent as bad as he was offensively does bring something defensively. To help out the bench lineup benching Rui & starting prince would have made sense as Rui played a bad series & prince was by far our best shooter that series. Rui mightve also contributed more on the bench against the nuggets bench.

Dude Darvin Ham couldn't even drop any plays and the five wide out always leaves nobody underneath the rim. What is she talking about? The Lakers need a coach who has offensive systems and offensive plays. They need a triangle system. Denver Nuggets running a triangle offense so does Dallas Mavericks they run a lien triangle offense and then think about it. Darvin Ham as a player scored under one point and on defense rebounds under one when he played as a player like really think about it. What is she saying you need to sit down LeBron James at least the 7th 6-minute Mark in the game and Anthony Davis and you got to let your offensive system Flow by itself. That way it takes off pressure. If they're down by 5 or 10 points they won't even have to worry about it because you'll be bringing in weapons that are going to be running this system. So at the end of the She's so wrong

Its not a roster issue unless a 39 year old is part of the issue. Lebron needs to go its over for him in LA. You want to start a rebuild? Thats the first thing you do. Pray he opts out and dont offer him an extension. Spoiler: he will opt out, but the lakers will draft bronny and give him a 3 year deal which would be ridiculous

Pelinka needs to be fired also. Mark Jackson is available and he will do the job better than any of the people everyone been mentioning. He deserves a second job after the team he had in Golden State and went on to win titles under Steve Kerr. He shouldn’t had left the building when he interviewed for the job two years ago. Eric and Ty both are excellent coaches. However, neither of them haven’t won since their separation from LeBron. Let them prove themselves without him, so their brilliance won’t be over shadowed by the GOAT.

It was clearly a coaching issue. If you watch the team from game to game and not just in highlights and on nationally televised games, that is clear. Everyone was praising the Lakers for their offseason last summer. Now it’s the roster… F out of here. They dealt with injuries but that team should have been better then a play in team. Ham was not a good coach. … The Lakers/ Lebron are gone and they are talking about this during the playoffs. Why? It’s because Joe Shmoe fan guy does not care about the NBA playoffs right now. They still need to milk those Lakers/ Lebron segments to get the views/ clicks they are not getting elsewhere. Pathetic.

Coach not allowed to develop recently drafted players because Lebron wants to win now. Any mistake by a rookie, Lebron wants them out of there. Imagine being a coach when your job rests on whatever a player wants you to do. The team was not good enough to beat Denver… But Ham had to go… And I’ll tell you why, management wasn’t happy with the fact that he chose to play a minimum contract player and someone who was a biannual exception over the 3rd 4th and 5th highest paid players on the team… The season was supposed to be about continuity. Yes there were some injuries but it took 54 games to start Bron AD Rui DLo and AR and once he did the lakers went on a 28-10 run. That being said this team was never beating Denver. Pelinka needs to go also.

Theses people must not watch the games, first of all it’s not all Ham fault, Pelinka should’ve been fired too, he brings in the players but if you watch the games Ham just doesn’t make sensible moves in games he doesn’t call timeouts when they need to be called and he doesn’t utilize the roster properly and he failed to challenge several calls that could of changed the outcome of the games, like in game 2 with the Lakers up 99-97 over the Nuggets, LBJ was called for a foul when it appeared to be non foul even the announcer said they didn’t see a foul and were surprised Ham didn’t challenge these are the type of things that make you question Ham coaching abilities 😆

Roster’s never gonna be good enough as long as Davis and James on max deals is the foundation. So, coaching change was inevitable. Gotta get a new scapegoat. Lebron is great for 39. Not good enough to be the #1 on a title team anymore. Simple as that.
