Spinning poi brings so much joy! This video shows 4 friends meeting up in the lovely city of San Francisco to spin poi and have an awesome time. We had fun editing in some hidden treasures :)

Happy 10th anniversary, PodPoi! I noticed the poi tree, “find your flow” in the bench, the ship going under the Golden Gate, the Flowtoys symbol in the sky (and maybe for a moment in the circle under the blonde dancer? It’s hard to tell on a small screen). Such a great city that I had the pleasure to visit the year before shutdown!

Love the pod poi in the trees lighting up the park. When the sun goes down the podpoi come out at my house. Might need to come spin around Sf and feel the joy this video shares. Congratulations on 10 years lighting up the night (and sometimes the day, let’s be honest)

Happy 10 years of podpoi.. Great video, especially the partner poi where they are clearly having loads of fun... As for hidden treasures, well I saw the Flowtoys cargo ship - thats a lot of podpoi being delivered ! - and the water bottle on the bench..

Happy 10th year Podpoi! I really want to get some Poi to keep in my car, so I can practice my flow on my work breaks and where ever / whenever and with other people. It would be a nice addition to my contact staff! I hope to use these to practice until I’m comfortable enough to learn with fire! There’s a sign with the flowtoy emblem on it in the beginning, for maybe that’s a sign that I need to get some of these for myself!

10 years?!? Damnnnnn! I caught the “find your flow” hiding in the bench at the end :) If you keep pushing the subliminal messages, flowtoys will take over the world by the time you celebrate your 20th birthday. Just develop a bomb that explodes into a giant light show with some bassy wobbles and you will untie the world through love.

Happy 10 years podpoi! The fun they have makes me want to make more friends to flow with 😂 or my wife even! Only Easter egg I caught was the bench saying find your flow, and the egg shape of the pods themself!

I live not to far from pasadena. Have been spinning almost 10 years. We do flow jams pretty often and I also do private lessons.

The history of poi ball dancing goes back to the islands. And I think if I remember The Maori of New Zealand is where it started. You could google the history of it. Now as for the dance, the answer is there, go find a dance troop that teaches poi ball dancing. As a child, when I was taking lessons for tahitian dancing, I learned the dance. Depending on the native origin of your teacher and/or what type of dancing she teaches, you may learn it. I hope that helps.

we love flags too, and used to spin a lot more flags back in the day. poi does allow for more technique, plane changes, mid-air stalls, slower spinning and such. wish you a wonderful poi journey. i'd recommend podpoi to start with - they are beautiful inside and out, on and off and they're cushy on impact :)
