I grew up with my father living across the street but he was so upset with my mom that he didn’t have anything to do with me. I relate to this song. I had to learn how to grind and do things myself. I now have three kids of my own and they know I love them and I’m doing everything I can to give them a good life. Shout out to Joyner for making such a powerful song. Shout out to you guys for doing this reaction. Salute. 💯

This shii hit different. I had listened to the song before but I didn’t LISTEN to it like I just did now and damn made me shed a tear cause I grew up with no father figure to guide me through life and how a man supposed to be, but as I’ve gotten older I know I need to move better so when I have wife and kids of my own I’ll be doing right by them. Every child deserves to have a father figure. I feel bad for the fathers that have abandoned their kids because they were afraid of the responsibilities that they would have. Bless these poor kids hearts who struggle in the beginning without a father figure. I’m very blessed to have two wonderful parents in my life, my mom and dad. Joyner does a good job hitting these points in his track. Definitely my favorite music artist who can tell a story that leaves you lost in thought sometimes. 👌
