This new Joyo Power Tune pedal is both a power supply and guitar tuner in one. It can power up to 8 more pedals and comes with all the cables you could need to hook it up to your pedalboard. This is a new product from Joyo and is worth checking out if you're looking for a tuner and a power supply in one. I couldn't hear any buzz or hum from using this unit.
Recording set up:
I am plugged into my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue amplifier on the clean channel into a Two-Notes Torpedo Live.

I had one. It got fried when the power came back on after an outage(only thing I can think it was). Absolutely loved it.

Hey Shane, I think you should have demonstrated if it created ground loop hum once you combined 2 or more effect pedals, all turned on at the same time. It would prove the 9 VDC supplies are individually isolated, rather than day chained.

Liking this tuner. Now thinking of it for my pedalboard now that I'm doing it more organized. I do already have a small korg chromatic tuner which is good but not as convient having to unplug from the pedals / amp then have it sitting on my lap either.

I am interested in both a Power Supply and Tuner for my board, I really would have liked to see more of a demo of you playing with a few of the drive pedals turned on/up with a fair amount of gain. Would you recommend this or separate tuner and P/S? It looks fairly big and I don't have space ON TOP of the board other than for a "mini" tuner

holy crap this is awesome. I know the spec sheets say they're isolated outputs, but a lot of time that isn't the case with Chinese power supplies. if that's true, this is an amazing idea.

Had mine for 2 years, recently it's developed a horrible screeching/squealing noise whilst in tuning mode, the noise corresponds to the LED movement and comes from the amp. I have to turn the amp down to stop hearing it (turning the guitar vol/tone to zero makes no difference). Yes I tried changing cables & power outlet. Happens with any guitar and amp too. Other than this it still does the job. Not sure I'd recommend it based on this experience though.

How you like the JOYO JAM BUDDY ?? it has several effects inbuilt in one big pedal. looks good and sounds strong. could I have all pedals I need in one only ? for country music and solo... no heavy metal..

i m beginner for electric guitar and a greenhorn. in terms of guitar buy and pedals . could use some help of advice?? Country and western is what i would love to play. and solo to it. i had only Classical guitars. but for solo, it is best to have an e-guitar with the right pedals

JOYO JF-18 Power Tune I paid for a new item and this is obviously second hand, has paint chip and scratches on the display. Protective cover for the display had been removed, this was purchased through Amazon. Supplier was JOYO Audio UK - Guitar Effects. Quality products at a cheap price with cheap policies and customer service. Eddie Scott

Hey Shane - seems too good to be true. Any noise with stacked pedals? I stack my drives and use a couple big Strymon boxes that are always on.

I'm pretty sure the're not isolated...more likely they have different regulators and filtering for each output

A transparent overdrive (something like a tube screamer) and maybe an echo or delay for a slap back to give it some depth.

Can you plug the 500 ma slots into your regular 9volt pedals or is that only reserved for pedals that require more power. I dont have any of those and if i cant it will mean its only a 6 slot that is usefull for me.

Hi , I have just purchased this pedal as my first pedal ever. I am a beginner been playing around 6 month and am looking to achieve a John Mayer tone. Obviously the joyo is a price friendly pedal and seems to be getting great reviews. Can you tell me some more joyo pedals to buy and add to my collection so I can try to achieve that John Mayer tone. I think a clean glass would be good for a clean boost. Please advise what you would buy for the John Mayer tone. Hope to hear from you soon Liam

Liam James Kent an American sound can give you a fender kinda pre amp tone. also whatever joyos tube screamer copy is and or their blues driver.

Mine went faulty after 1 use when 1 of the inputs wasnt accepting a power cable! Because I took the back off the music shop and joyo refused to exchange it. I'm new to effect pedals and wasnt aware it would invalidate the warranty which is my fault but I will NEVER buy ANYTHING EVER again from joyo!!

Unfortunately, I've found this tuner gets you in the ballpark, but it's not accurate enough (eg, you have to fine tune afterwards and can't use it to set your intonation etc). I'm actually a bit upset because in your review you praise it: "the response of the LED is very fine, if you just turn your tuning peg a hair you're going to see it on the screen. It's a very responsive tuner" Ended up setting my intonation by ear which was annoying after spending the money on the pedal and waiting for it to arrive. If I was using it live and relying on it for silent tuning I would be throwing it in the bin out of frustration on the first use. On the power supply side of things, it seems to work ok. In hindsight, I'd buy a power supply and spend the money on a decent tuner because this thing just falls short as a tuner.
