By using an ETF, you can include BTC in tax free savings and retirement accounts. This might prove the smarter strategy, if it goes parabolic. Just sayin.
You shouldn't be fully disparaging of an ETF product completely. There are reasons why people choose that route. One good reason is: putting them in a registered account and tax can be deferred. Or, in the case of a Canadian TFSA: gains would be 100 percent tax free. Don't spread overgeneralized info! There are reasons why the ETFs make sense
The ETF is a Trust Contact, and is very close to holding spot coin. If they change it, they are done, but what they do with the actual bitcoin (blackrock...) is to use it to create wealth the ETF owner never sees?
Larry and friends are late to our BTC party. How do you think they are gonna get their paws onto an asset where 50% of it are already with long term HODL. Shake outs, and more shake outs, carry trades keeping it at a ping pong range between 70k and 54k. They have so called market makers to do it: playing with narratives ..Mt Gox, German government selling etc. Bottom line: Diamond hands don't get swindled.
Wouldnt it be better if there were BTC Whole Life Insurance policies??? Benefts: Cash Value, Death money, tax free. Billionaires use this method in fiat to create and preserve their wealth.
I remember when Jamie Damon dumped on btc in the mainstream media a few years ago. Btc dropped about 20% as a result. In the days that followed, JP Morgan was the second biggest buyer of btc. Everyone who's been in this space a while knows Jamie Dimon's words and actions are the polar opposite of each other.
They are not getting desperate. Btc - “you will own nothing and be happy” All they’re doing is using the private sector to build out the infrastructure for CBDCs. In other words. People are creating their own digital prison.
Seems the creators of BTC are letting there cronies like Blackrock and JP Morgan get into the show....Getting more obvious, there is a good chance Satoshi is/was the United Nations or other world orders running the show, they would never trust or invest into something this Fast if they didnt know the creators.......Let's be real, curious what others think about that:
Satoshi saved 1 Million BTC just to have is total BS at this point? If Satoshi was truly on a mission of peace, he would not save 1M of BTC for himself/herself .......... Lets be real :)
SMH.....just because Blackrock after 15 years of Btc being around decide to get in on a good thing, doesn't discredit Btc in the least...where do you get this illogical thought - or are you just tro lling ?
you shouldn't be so hard on ETF most of that money is money like peoples 401k that they couldn't buy BTC anyway so this helps get that $ into the Btc ecosystem . so u would rather that $ just stay in stocks at least the ETF providers have to buy real BTC and put it in storage . ?????
Well said. If it weren't for the ETF, my IRA money wouldn't be in crypto. I suppose there is the self-directed IRA account, but ETF makes it much easier.
what happen if a person lost his hard wallet with 50bitcoin stored in that, can that be recovered or lost forever? I'm still very in the cryptocurrency world.
@@_outofphase5480 Because such retirement accounts are limited in what investments can be held. Unfortunately crypto, metals, real estate, etc are not permitted unless via a self-directed account which adds a layer of complexity. The ETFs are easiest way.
@@_outofphase5480 bad economy? I’m broke. I do have money though in a retirement account as do MILLIONS of people! This is the only way to invest in Bitcoin.
when you say some bitcoin are lost forever, i think this statement wont remain true in few years with quantum computing being reachable. everyone will have to move their funds to some new quantum safe wallet, while (currently) inaccessible wallets will be a juicy target for quantum computer's owners, since they will probably be able reverse the hashing on the public keys. im mostly interested to see who will get Satoshi's stash
Even if you could, reversing the hashing on public keys doesn't link you to the private keys.....good luck trying to jailbreak Btc with 'quantum computers'....that's because the sum of the Btc blockchain network in effect already makes Btc the biggest quantum comp in the world.
BTC with small blocks is a Boomer Meme Coin that doesn't do anything, what it attempts to do it does badly. Saylor has unsurprisingly appointed himself as the Toxic Maxi Dictator and King of BTC Memes ☺
JP Morgan gets desperate for a monetary system that stores real value; energy. Unfortunately for JP Morgan, they have no ability to counterfeit this energy. And just like that, the world has 8 billion mobile banks.
Agree w/half but u r wrong in ETFS not retaining custody. All ETFS ARE MAINTAINING CUSTODY, COLD STORAGE (JUST AS U R in This paradise u r posting from). Living in Cincinnati I don't know how you live a comfortable life in third world, but hey more power to you.

@littlered7820 Please! You're paranoid. With buying ETFs, everything is documented. When was the last time someone lost all their money from a Blackrock etf. NEVER. You could hire a lawyer. PARANOID 🤣🤣
The best thing you can do with an ETF is speculate on the price of BTC to get more or less fiat. You can’t use it when you want to, you have zero control over the ownership of the Bitcoin itself. Worst of all, you’re giving all the wealth and power to Blackrock.
Don't sell your Bitcoin no matter what people say or do. I'll sell 15-20 years from now when I'm retirement age. My retirement is going to be extremely cool and wealthy. ❤
Okay, so you don't want the rest of to ever sell our btc, but you get to sell yours when you want. Why don't you just tell us all to do as you say, not as you do. Can you spell the word hypocrite?
you talk about the importance of DCAing, but haveing tons small of UTXOs is really bad.never heard you talk about useing tools like liquid, aqua wallet or sideswap, boltz exchange to DCA properly and peg out to one larger UTXO.i think not doing a video on the topic is irresponsible
I think the people that got in early and were buying multiple bitcoins don't really have to worry about utxos like new buyers. Sounds like this couple got in pretty early but yes newer buyers should be paying attention to utxo consolidation. I talked to a buddy of mine that got in 2011 and he didn't even know what I was talking about because all of his utxos are probably multiple bitcoins. They didn't buy satoshis they bought whole coins. I agree though that there should be more info about it.
@@jimmytimber7074 as time passes the fees will continue to increase and block space more valuable, you probably gotta be part of there shitcoin club to get any real value but there are plenty of other content creators with videos on the topic
Sorry but as much as i don't like jpmorgan, they may be correct. At least in this bullrun. According to the data trajectory, btc will not likely go to $100K this run. But of course this comment may seem insignificant and easily ignored..
