One album I think you should do a backtrack album to would be 4eva is a Mighty Long Time by Big K.R.I.T. I remember it not being on your best albums of 2017 so I assume you haven't heard it yet, because a lot of people have said that was one of the best from last year.
This album for sure is a grower, but cool reaction. Real Nega goes so hard, I love it. The whole album is pretty fantastic, but didn't know how to think first listen. Really challenging sounds, and INCREDIBLY detailed production that you pick up on more and more with each listen.
Fun Fact: The beat for “My Thoughts On Neogaf Dying” was used by Armand Hammer on the track “Barbarians” in 2017 which was, of course, produced by Peggy.

@@keygenxcx nah I went to one of his shows, way less people, smaller venues, nicer crowds and overall way safer, there were also places you could sit down or rest at the concert I went to, I would go with friends if any are down to go with you

If you want to try more experimental hip-hop, a couple great modern suggestions are these albums: Death Grips - The Money Store clipping. - CLPPNG HIGHLY recommend these two.
Its glitch/experimental hip-hop my dude, if you like to dwell into that sort of genre listen to acts like Clipping and Death grips and lesser extent Shabazz palace but they more jazz experimental.
If you're looking for more expiremental albums, the money store by death grips (really anything by death grips but that's their best imo) and CLPPNG by clipping.
