Thank you for the information. In the very beginning of the video when you first put in your CD you have the option to hit X for more options and install the game through the traditional Xbox menu. I have done this for a couple of games now and I have seem to have no problems with them. Should I be installing them through Aurora or is there some downside to using the traditional Xbox menu to install?
The traditional install to hard drive option on the normal Xbox menu, still requires you to have the disc inserted in order to start the game. The methods shown in this video allow you to run the game from the hard drive without the original disc inserted.
@@michaellukas1981 If you loose the disc or it gets damaged to the point where the console can't read it, then you can't play the game. Even though it's installed to the HDD. With the methods shown in this video once the games installed on the HDD you don't need the disc to run it.
MODDED WARFARE OK sorry I wasn’t more clear I am installing them in the traditional Xbox menu multiple games putting my games away and then playing them on Aurora with the path set to the zeros folder. I have not come across a hiccup in any of the games that I am doing this for I just wonder if I will? No game in after install. It never asks.
I make a copy to hdd in dvd extract option on freestyle menu but I didn't see this game in XBOX 360 GAMES folder. Can you explain why? From file manager game starting normally but I didn't see case screen in folder 🥺
Hey Lee i wanted to ask if you knew a place to download roms for n64 emulator cuz when i watched your old video about it you said to download from coolroms but cool roms doesn't have n64 roms anymore so If there's a site and I'm not aware please tell me
What about 2 disc games? Forza 4 has a play disc and an install disc. Do I just copy the base game and then use the install disc as I would on a normal xbox? Or do I install both?
I have a problem with copying games from a USB to the xbox hard drive, i've always used xexmenu to do the copying and pasting and it always works but these days it just gets stuck @ 0% and then it stops without reaching 100 usually only copying an empty folder.....I tried using free style dash but it also displays operation failed without making any much progress.....and I doubt the problem is related to low storage coz my Xbox shows that I have around 50 GBs of free space yet the games I tried transferring are around 10 to 16 GBs....I really donno wat to do now.....hope u can help me out
Hey bro. I have a question. If we want to copy DVD game from computer to the external harddrive of xbox360 jtag. What will be the procedure? As my dvd rom of xbox is weak and cannot read disc and give errors like unreadable disk.
I got a paste error after copying Project Sylpheed. I can play the game but should i expect a problem down the line? I get this more lately like when copying from usb, maybe the hd is trying to warn me 🤔
Whats your opinion. Which is the more stable, crash proof method? Copy the folders from disc into the Games folder,or just install the game into god format?
Thanks for the video, it'll come in handy once i get my xbox 360 in a couple weeks. Whats the biggest size hard drive can the xbox 360 slim read internally?
I am not condoneing this but. Theoretically you could go to game stop buy a game you want copy it to the hard drive and the Take it back for a refund and you go yourself a free game. Technically it is stilling so there for I am not responsible if you go to jail for that you are responsible for your own actions so if you do that you legally can't blame mefor tell you to do that cuz I didn't tell you to do that.
Hi, is there a way to download a game and copy it to the xbox hdd directly from pc. I dont wanna install aurora or xexmenu to my xbox neither i wanna use xbox dvd drive to install the game. I already had few games on my HDD that I just click and start playing. I wanna have more games like this. Please help
Well if anybody sees this that whole file thing you went through and Preston all the files but copy them and download them you don't have to do any of that on the game where it says game details press x it'll give you the option to play the game or underneath it it says install game press install game and wait for it to install plain and simple.
No, because that option wont allow you to run the game without the disc inserted. The whole point of the method shown in the video is to create a backup copy you can run from the hard drive without the disc. So if you ever lost the disc or it gets damaged you can still run your backup from the hard drive.
@@MODDEDWARFARE oh are you talking about modded systems then cuz I don't know of anything that you can play without the disc but you can sure install it to your hard drive but you still need to display it for sure I'm guessing unless you mod your system but I don't remember hearing anything about modding in the video and your video but I do watch a lot of videos sometimes is that why you're putting it up into a iOS format for the operating system then
@@MODDEDWARFARE yeah that's one of the places that read to your app doesn't work. I'm one of those people that are less fortunate on the reading and spelling capabilities but it sure does make the video make a lot more sense now that I know that at first I was even wondering why you were doing it in the first place but now I know well thanks for replying back.
Can you just buy and download a game from the Xbox Marketplace? And run it like normal and still use the mod menu once it’s booted up, without doing all of this.
How would it work If I had a digital download? I did a send in, and before that o had bought gta v on their site. If I have that still will I just be able to play through that or do I also have to copy to xexmenu?
I just want to ask that I have a original xbox back up game disc if I put it in my jtag xbox 360 will I be able to copy the game to the hard drive using this same method and play also same with the xbox 360 back up discs as I have lots of original xbox game disc back ups I just want them all on my hard drive if you cant do this way is there any other way thnx.
Hey, thanks, your tutorials helped me a lot....But recently I extracted Gears of War 3 into the USB but I couldnt copy it into the Xbox 360 Hdd1. like when i click copy and then paste, the screen shows up showing 0/0. I played the game directly on the USB stick and it worked but still i cant copy the game folder through XeX Menu to the Hdd1.
I so need your help. I have a fully modded 360...jtagged with a demon chip. My burned discs will not launch any longer.... The games in my 500 gb still play just fine... any ideas? Thx PS Very very low mileage on the drive, I doubt over 50 hours on discs so very unlikely it failed
im in need of some guidance i have a lot of 360 games on a 2tb external but i want to put them on my internal 2tb any way to do this thanks in advance i enjoy all of your videos they have helped me a lot
Hi, my rgh xbox 360 needs disc to play tasm 2. I downloaded tasm 2 from internet and tried to play it, but always game shows comunicate that it requires disc to play, how to bypass that?
Okay what if you download the game and it ask for an update thats what happens on my flash drive and when I put it on my hardrive it runs but once it goes to the game menu it crashes I need help please
Just wandering is there anyway you can get it to run from the display video games menu with the rest of the games , instead of going in the file and launching it from a boot file.
Yes but you would need to export the extracted game files to your computer, convert it to ISO format then use ISO2GOD which can convert it to the marketplace version of the game. Which needs to be installed to the content folder on the hard drive. It will then show up in the games section on the dashboard. However it's much easier to add the game to Aurora dashboard and set Aurora as the default launch option in Dashlaunch. That way the console will boot straight into Aurora and you can launch the game from there.
I managed to get mine working too lol it worked the next day 😂only problem is I need a bigger hard drive to do all my games so ordered a 250 today haha
I use to have a DVD flashed 360 so I have a ton of burned discs....is there a way to copy those over to the HDD of my RGH box that doesn't have a flashed drive?
I believe if you have a computer with a DL DVD drive which hopefully you have as you would of needed one to burn the discs in the first place. Anyway you can put the disc in and load up Xbox Backup Creator > Image Browser. Then File load disc. kinda going of memory here. It should load up the contents of the disc which you can then extract to a folder. Move this folder to a drive you can plug into your Xbox and can then load the game from that drive in Xex Menu, Aurora, Neighborhood etc.
