Tommy made me cry with his rendition of this song. He is so emotional , you can hear his pain of losing his good friend, and it breaks my heart. Just like right now. I hear him sing in your reaction and I start to cry. The feelings he can put in his voice is almost to hard to bear. That he kept this video in black and white even made stronger. Thank you for your beautiful reaction ❤️

Have thought many times, why isn't Tommy more famous than he is. Sweden still has many famous singers, but Tommy is as if hidden in the dark. But why? He is an incredible singer, must be in the top 10 in the world. Up among Sinatra, Pavarotti etc.

For a singer like Tommy ,who is naturally high-pitched, it is impressive to be able sing so relativly low - and still sound amazing! He is not forcing it. One of his best songs as well.

In the last frame there is written "See you in Nangiala, my friend" This refers to a childres' book called The Brothers Lionheart from the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. (She also wrote Pipi Longstocking and many other stories for kids.) In that book both brothers die at the very beginning of the story and find themselves in a place called Nangiala, where they lead an adventurous (after)life. I guess in Sweden everybody knows this book. Even most Germans of our generation know it, but I'm not so sure about the rest of the world. When I first saw this references it brought tears to my eyes.

Die Brüder Löwenherz, ja das sind sehr schöne Kindheitserinnerungen. Ich kenne das Buch und den Film. Danke für die Erklärung!

S&G was my teenage music, Bridge Over T W being the very first record I bought. I love Tommy's interpretation. As I heard it, the favourite song of his lost friend. Fantastic tribute.

Nice reaction! Tommy is one of my top three artists. Dan Vasc and Jonathan Young are my other two number ones. Each of them is phenomenal, but they also work superhard! If you haven't already, please 🙏 do some reactions to Dan and Jonathan and more of Tommy.
