One of the best songs off SAD WINGS OF DESTINY 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 I hope they play “Heroes End” someday and then all of STAINED CLASS will have been performed live
Live Mix was Fantastic. Great to see The Priest back in Ct.! They were Fantastic. We Missed Glenn, but Andy did great job. Go and see them while you can. No Backing Tracks, just the best live band from the 70's Still Killing It. Wow. Halford sounded Great also. Heavy and Loud, Like it should be. What Pros.
@johnnyamaro6643 Who really GAF ? Seen them enough times to know how good they were/still are. Why can you not just enjoy it for what it is - like the OP says, one of *the* best live fkn metal albums ever ? Always one 🙄
That is one of the best live album ever. The shows he did at the very beginning with halford in 2000 and early 2001 are legendary in power which quickly faded as early as 2002.
Andy definitely deserves some praise. It is obvious he gained some confindence and enjoys his time on the stage much more than 3-4 yrs ago. Can't wait for another album tbh!
@@davidknichal6629 100%! never looked into his bands but he is very talented and his playing with the band is great. Can't wait for the record too! Given how good halford has sounded since 2018 i think we'll be in some for killer singing
Can't wait to see them in San Antonio next weeks. Hope they play all them deep cuts Joe Anthony used to play on his show... JP has always been one my favorites
I was there at tech port. Sadly this was not played. When Grinder stated I was thrilled thinking it was Genocide. My memory was better before I quit drinking 4 years ago.🥴✌️
When Rob did Genocide with his band HALFORD, from the live album Insurrection it was mind blowing . The song sounded more raw sounding and sounded much better. But they did a lot of studio magic mixing and tweaking to make the song sound like that on the album Still this is awesome were it should be . Would of loved to see Priest do this live .
@@thatsit7929 So im a troll because i happen to have an opinion that differs from yours? ive been a priest fan since the beginning - but i know what im hearing - and it aint halford, its the band hes got around him (not including hill) they are undisclipined and all over the place. The song is a train wreck, surely you can hear this?
Couldn’t see the teleprompter? It’s so obvious he’s straining to see it on his monitor. I can see these lyrics being hard to remember. But Braking the law ? Anyway getting olds a bitch!
I don’t know….something’s weird beyond age why is the monitor line so far back? Mix not good could be camera? Teleprompter…..which is used more and more…but if your stuck looking at lyrics…..again I don’t know….🙏🏼🙏🏼
Man, it sounds pretty good. but no band spark . Just stand around no interaction again. rob reading again. the crowd is boring as f#$##@#$. front row staring like its an opera. do you people know how to rock!!! so sad on all levels.. Priest is my fav all time band. but.... there done.
Scott Travis has been with the band since Painkiller. And does Ian Hill not count? You’re listening to a recording from someone’s smartphone 😂 Sure, Rob doesn’t sound quite as he did when he was 25, but who does?
@@MoSweiti666 He could've sung it with his normal voice, not the Hard-Trying-Painkiller-Voice. I think he sings it an octave down, when compared to this, on Sad Wings and Unleashed - it is how it is on the original recording also. Not sure what he was thinking here.
The vocal register for this song isn’t really in Rob’s wheelhouse anymore. That’s tough for him to pull off. And instrumentally, it was off. Needs some more rehearsal.
Man i love priest but i gotta be honest here - that was shockingly bad. The guitarists are all over the place and the drumming is like drum-by-numbers. What a train wreck
