First time i ever was not impressed by this judge. Regardless of this mans situation, i thought her comment about getting an injury to your leg isnt tantamount to the inability to have employment. She's out of her element. PTSD isnt something that can be seen on an exray.

Amazing!!! This guy gets shot in the buttocks and is able to collect VA benefits. My husband served time in the Navy, he had a hatch shut on both his hands. His fingers were almost severed. He his pain in his fingers all the way through his hands, he had to fight to get disability!!!!

On a point of order, if this defendant is going to school to better his future prospects, then the random field visits cannot be 'random', so Boyd's rationale in this instance is flawed; it is not necessarily about the Court/ Probation Service "working around his schedule" per se, rather, it is that one salient reminder Boyd often espouses to those before her, ergo, "Do you have everything you need to be successful ?" Clearly, in this scenario, the defendant cannot be successful if he has to be at his residence when he should be attending classes; as such, I can understand his frustration. Taking this to its natural conclusion, Boyd is impeding his chance to make ammends - boith to the Court & himself...

The die was set long ago for fathers. You are fuqqed from the gitgo on children. It wouldn't matter if he was paying his share. The mom and court would want more than he was making regardless. A lot of dads have found this out and just have refused to be a part of their childrens life. I was in the same mess. As soon as i came up with the cash, i said goodbye and have lived a great life. I actually agree with him. Clearly he has anger issues but it seems as if he's trying to better himself. And if he's in college and there's no curfew why should he wait at home all day? I imagine I would have PTSD if I had been shot while fighting for my country. Everyone knows the military treats their vets like trash.
