He is not the first celebrity to say they've had an unpleasant encounter with Tina Turner, but because she's always portrayed as a victim in the media the stories that don't present her in a good light won't make the news. Elton John, Arsenio Hall, Little Richard and Darlene Love have all told stories about how she was rude to them. Tina was estranged from her own family. She never met her great-grandchildren. She didn’t even have a funeral with her family in attendance just like they weren't invited to her wedding. Tina was born a Black girl in Tennessee and died a European woman far removed from her roots in Switzerland.

I remember Keith Richards told a story about when Ike and Tina Turner were on tour with the Rolling Stones he heard them scuffling in their dressing room. When he looked out into the hallway Tina emerged looking immaculate and Ike was the one slumped over looking beat up. Keith said Tina wasn't someone to mess with and another person who was on tour with them said he saw Tina fooling around with Mick Jagger. Most people think of Laurence Fishburne when they think of Ike but Laurence was much bigger than him. Tina admitted in her first book that she had a bad temper when she was younger. She wasn't anyone's punching bag but it became profitable for her to portray herself as one.

That was deep. I didn't know judge Brown was from LA. I use to know Ike also. In 1985 my friend took me to meet Ike at his apartment in North Hollywood, he lived in my friend's father's building. Ike wanted to learn how to use the new Linn Drum machine he bought. Same kind of drum machine in "When Doves Cry" by Prince. I knew how to use it. I was not yet a producer, I was still a kid. I taught him to program beats for 3 hours for 4 days. Years later I become a producer and had a studio on Hollywood Blvd., a friend back then who is now a big podcaster named Zoe brought Ike to my studio. I think Kool Moe Dee introduced me to Zoe btw. I reminded Ike of when I taught him the Linn Drum and he remembered me. He was a nice guy. Funny, a little crazy like an uncle would be at a barbecue. I couldn't see the devil the media always try to make him out to be. He would come to my studio every once a while and hang out. Joe brown knows what he's talking about

Ike was a great guy. Here is a story. I hired him to play at a Casino in the 90s. In the morning he was at the door handing out fliers! I said Mr. Turner no need, I spent 3 grand on promotion! 😅😅 😅 We talked later, I heard the same stories that you have told Judge. He got a raw deal! (This was not long after the TV stuff demonizing poor Ike. He was no monster!!!!

For those who are new, Judge Joe Brown has been publicly speaking about Tina being violent for years. Ike employed hundreds of people and he moved entire band from St. Louis to California. Ike helped Louis Jordan when he was having financial issues with the IRS. Little Richard wrote the introduction to Ike's book and said Ike helped him save his house from foreclosure. He created record labels to give his band opportunities to record singles. These are just a few stories of good deeds that Ike did which are never publicized. Ike claimed to have been married 14 times yet only one bitter ex-wife demonized him for decades. He was friends with a few of his ex-wives who have defended him. Tina was mad that she didn't get the money and property she wanted in the divorce. Contrary to popular belief it is documented that she wanted to keep more than just her name. She also made an offer to continue performing with Ike during their divorce. That doesn't sound like a battered woman who is in fear of her life. If Ike had compromised with her history would have been different. Instead she became resentful and she knew it would be her word against his.
There is also a movie bot about Ike and Tina Turner but it's called men don't tell. That movie was about the woman being the aggressor and hitting the husband.

I met Ike on a babysitting stint I did around 1998. The white woman I got hired by wanted to go out on a date so I came over. 2am she walks in with none other than Ike himself, dressed in a full purple suit. He was really quiet and nice and shook my hand. Never forgot that. He wasn't pompous at all.
