Well it is an awful lot of work to make a home, you know. Painting, wallpapering, organizing, cleaning, cooking. And she said she took care of him for years. He received a workers compensation package, which takes months or years to get. Who took care of him while he was incapacitated? She just came across really, really bad. She was consumed by bitterness and hatred. What if the allegation is true? I dunno. Sigh.

@@CarolineWolterHall if it’s true that she supported him for “ten years” as she claims then she should just be happy with all of the stuff she snatched out of his home. Sounds like she left him with nothing in the home and no money until he can access that 20,000 a year later, as he mentioned. As for the allegation. What kind of daughter did SHE raise? By the end, the plaintiff looked disgusted by the accusation describing himself as her stepfather for ten years and claimed that he loved the defendant. She on the other hand got herself a boyfriend who could haul out all of the furniture and appliances that the plaintiff purchased on his own.

@@HH-yq6ch Yeah I agree. All I was trying to point out - because _everyone_ is jumping on her, is that there’s more to this story. It’s not like she swooped down into his life overnight and tried to steal the house. I’m not going to guess about things on which I have no clue.

Then again, let that be a word of warning for the rest of the people: Don't associate with a woman that already has a child. I don't think she could because they probably have a common law marriage, so the furniture would be considered marriage assets and would need to be split by a different court.

He might have even had to pay child support for her kids even if they are not his if he took responsibility during the marriage. Even if he didn’t have any money to pay all that he would still owe it and end up in debt and possibly in jail for not paying it.. if he gave her like 20k she would probably sign off on the house just to get the upfront money. Judge Judy’s didn’t give him the 30k because he didn’t establish a contract. He just deposited the money in her account so it’s he said she said…

She's taken all the stuff in the house, under marriage laws she'd have to leave them for a judge to decide whose they are, currently he has no course of action against anything she does. She owns half the house and she can come and go in that house as she pleases plus, as the other commenter says, he cannot release equity from the house as he can't force her to sell it.
