The judge said their conduct was "horrendous, inhumane and nothing short of evil." Judge George Lomeli sentenced Isauro Aguirre to death and sentenced his mother to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Amy Johnson reports.
Sadder is that no, he had a lot of loved ones, his grandparents and his uncles i believe, what had happened was that around when gabriel was 6 or so he was taken back to his horrible wench of a mother and her stupid boyfriend Something sadder is, he had 2 siblings. They saw his brother being murdered.
This death was so preventable, so much time has passed but it still makes my blood boil. The poor teacher did everything she could, yet CPS refused to get Gabriel out of that home. It's absolutely sick that the people we are supposed to trust to protect kids in abusive situations can just ignore something like that.
@xKuroki I'm pretty sure most teachers would do that if their student died. So why is it such a "big deal"? Btw not tryna sound like a dick, I'm genuinely curious bc I'm sure most ppl would do the same thing.
I really hate when killers apologize. You aren’t sorry. If you were sorry, you would’ve never done something like that. If you wished he was still alive, you would’ve never harmed him in the first place
I know the words "I feel bad for what I did" are the most infuriating words on the planet ok maybe not the most but its definitely up there of you WHERE sorry you wouldn't have done what you did and then lied about and it wasn't even a good lie to "he fell and it his head off a lamp desk" yes because as we know by now desks are capable of causes burns
I agree. Saying sorry for what exactly? This was not a single event, one lapse of judgement. This abuse went on every day for eight months. They could have stopped any time. She's not sorry.
That's NOT actually true. I'm not saying that she has sympathy, but when you said most killers who said they are sorry really aren't isn't true at all because some people don't think before doing something. To "good ppl" like you wouldn't see it that way, but ppl do make mistakes rather its major or minor.
i hate when they apologize as well. they're not sorry for what they did. they're only sorry that they got caught and are being held accountable for their actions.
Normal parents would ask another person to read the apology because they would too distraught to get through it!! She is only sorry she is heading to prison!
Social workers are the worst sometimes. Ignore obvious abuse, then take children away from loving parents because they didn’t give them vitamins one day.
People don’t realize that as a teacher.. you can’t do much for a student when you see them in those conditions. Students must not be held after class at all unless their parents are not there to pick them up, then they must wait in the office. If a teacher takes the students else where to a hospital or a station, that is illegal and basically all I’m saying is that teacher did every legal thing she could possibly have done.
@@Terratetradon but she did reported and spoke with everyone but everyone told her to back off . Social workers , police are as guilty as the mother because simply ignore the teacher and believe the criminal
Its not though. I imagine that teacher isn't dumb and wanted to. Governments have too many kids to keep up with. I have personally reported on cases like this yet Nothing can be legally done without hard evidences! How do we stop this cycle?
This is so messed up. Those parents deserve to be starved and beaten and tortured every day until death the same way they did to that innocent little boy. The mom does not deserve to live life in prison where she is plenty fed and taken care of for the rest of her life with heat and AC and a bed and showers and comfort which is the complete opposite of what that child endured. Prison is a joke and this woman deserves so much worse!
He’s just 3 days older then me, and it I can’t even imagine going through what he did at just 8 years old. I’m 17 now and he would be too, and it makes me so upset to think I’m out here in school planning to graduate and he’ll never be able to because of these horrid people
@@Gaby-yb8vj Ik it’s so horrid to think what he went through especially cause I was the same age as him, at 8 I was getting ready for summer break and so excited, and he wasn’t even able to have a summer break, and that’s devastating to me. Especially because so many people could’ve helped and save this boys life
That poor kid. Seeing images of him smiling whilst he’s bruised is heart wrenching. So many people out there would have been absolutely honoured to have a son like him.
Karla Orozco, I know, I can not wrap my head around the idea of these parents who do these kinds of things to their children. Shock is the right word...ya just wanna scream.
Personally, child services don't do enough. The child is often times made to lie and will often cover up for their parents because well that's their mommy and daddy, or they have siblings. it is truly devastating that they cannot even tell when a child is blatantly lying to their face.
cps child protective services is more like child predator services they attaked my family for 4 years just cause i have adhd and couldent behave i almost lost my family but my mom won the case in court and im still with my family they dont do fucking shit and attak people doing nothing
I understand why social workers get a bad wrap, but they have to follow protocol. They don't just go to a house and remove children, but when they do they often encounter resistance from the same children they are attempting to protect. Let me tell you, these social workers lost their jobs, homes and it will take years to get their lives back to normal, a lot happened to cease removal from the home. Please have compassion. May little Gabriel rest in peace.
@@inigopetersen2486 yes, I see what you are saying too. It is a very difficult job, I can imagine. There are lots of different factors they have to take into consideration, some of which prevent them from taking action as best as they could. Even though I wrote my comment a couple of days ago, I was thinking the other day from the child services perspective and I did feel guilty.
@@elc1847 Please don't feel guilty, there needs to be reform all around, the workload for social workers need to be equally balanced, not all are essential workers, while emergency response workers work odd hours, are expose to chronic trauma, have an excess of cases, unforseen deadlines, there are workers who sit at the office a do clerical work, and supervisors set their own hours and give themselves bonuses as desired. Supervisors also need to approve reports before they are handed to the judge. There are plenty of good workers but read the comments, social workers are demonized for attempting to do their job. And believe me, the social worker did not inflict the abuse or neglect to the child. But they are there to take blame and hold the liability.
No child on earth should ever experience what this kid went through. What’s really sad is that the mother seemed to show little to no remorse. This is tragic. RIP to this innocent soul. We will keep you in our hearts Gabriel ❤️
I remember watching the documentary on Netflix about Gabriel life and trial. I remember crying my heart out at the teachers interview. She had said on mother's day most of the kids were making gift cards for their mothers. She knew Gabriel was being abused and she told him that he didn't have to make one and he said he wants to because he still loves his mom. This child still had so much love for his mom even after everything she had done to him.
This reminds me of the Reddit form where it asked for a teachers who have had to make that call to CPS.... And how many fucking times CPS didn't do anything. It wasn't....a lot..... But it was too many you know? Like, the number of people in that subreddit who spoke of CPS being called on their family..... and then leaving them with their abuser because they just ..did such a shit job of checking the home and interviewing the children IN FRONT OF THE ABUSERS. So unfortunately, even if it's just... 20 or 30% of incompetence, that's still potentially *thousands* of children, you know??
I hate parents who do these kind of tortures to their kids it's disgusting I hope they burn in hell for their crimes!!! Along with the social workers and their supervisor who allow this kind of behavior to go unnoticed!!!
🤦♀️ They mean that parents should always try to better themselves for their children. Without even mentioning it, many parents try hard everyday. It's human nature to be better and different everyday. And there is such a thing as a good parent. If you're curious, look up a Kin Domain or the Ringing Cedars of Russia by Vladimir Megre.
@@animusic8360 I'm sorry to hear that. Listen I know that's the last thing you wanted to hear... But what's happened has happened and now you've emerged free from it, stronger than ever before... And you don't owe anyone anything, period. Now what happens is all upto you, God bless
I have a 3 year old son he’s my world 🌎 his smile brightens up my day his laugh makes my heart melt his kisses give me life wow how can a mother let that happen to her baby may he Rest In Peace lord knows he’s in a better place !!!
@@valarie22 That is true but people can still feel regret, ive seen killers that did the most disgusting things ever and they showed that they had regrets, but this mother is awful she makes me sick.
And for no reason too. I swear, kids are brought into the world to be used at fleshlights and punching bags. I'm one of the lucky ones, but i feel we shoud've suffed in their place instead sometimes.
The fact that every single one of us in this comment section dropped more tears than his mother is absolutely disgusting, I hope she gets treated with the upmost disrespect and torture that Gabe received.
Yeah you can tell he was hurt his pride deminished, he was staring at that guy with a killing intent. Even though he left his son he still has that biological since that someone killed his offspring. If he cat he's the boyfriend in prison I bet he would fucking murder him
No one ever wanted that poor baby but hey lets force pregnancy and birth on women and this just keeps happening instead! Because that makes so much sense? said no one NEVER !
Yeah imagine not being able to see your son but at least hoping that he's doing well. The next thing you know he's been tortured and killed by your baby mama and her new boo
I have a little cousin in Mexico who’s also around 8 and he reminds me so much of Gabriel. They both loved their mothers and after what they did. My little cousin is so independent and hard working for a little 8 year old. Gabriel’s smile reminds me of his so much too. He has this stutter when he talks but he talks so well at the same time. That’s why Gabriel’s case hit harder than it already did.
That monster is going to be beaten every day in prison. This case make it to international headlines a lot of abuse is waiting for her as she deserves that and much more
I believe she was burned in their because in prison she said she was there because stole something and was bragging the inmates later found out what happened so they beat her up and burned her she had it coming for her
@@thepotthatburnedtodoroki8067 That warms my heart. Especially since I had a panic attack yesterday and this is like a nice little thing to be happy about
Bruh that apology was faker than her eyebrows wtf edit: this comment is getting a lot of attention i’m guessing the youtube algorithm put this in everyone’s recommendations again
Omg horrific! I can't imagine how helpless the teacher who reported it feels, too! It's bad enough when nobody helps but it's worse when people try to help and the child is failed! Another case of a skeezy woman choosing a depraved, abusive man over her own child! Disgusting! When I got a divorce I didn't even date for over 7 years! I didn't want to risk bringing a man around my son. Even if he were a good man and my son loved him, if it didn't work out it would break my son's heart and that's not fair either. I don't feel sorry for that disgusting woman in any way. Life in prison is better than she deserves! I hope like hell that man doesn't have his sentence commuted to life on an an appeal or something.😡 Even if the death penalty is applied, he's probably got another 20 to 35 years of life to live before it happens! A lot more than that baby was given. 😓😓😓😢😢😢😢 It never ceases to amaze me how hard a sadistic child killer would fight to avoid the death penalty. Cowards one and all!
Exactly what I said when I first heard her “apology”.. I hope the other inmates take care of her and give Gabriel the justice he deserves, life in prison, what a joke!
it's been years since i first heard about this case and it still makes me cry whenever i think of him. it shouldn't have to have ended this way, but at least he's away from all the unthinkable cruelty and pain he experienced in his short life. rest in peace, gabriel.
Exactly !! And they end up back in the system and worse! Yet my state just banned a woman's right to choose to give birth, even from early on! Baby breeders and careless people right and left killing them later :( So sad
Jennifer Garcia tried so hard and had to follow protocol when I bet inside she laid awake at night trying to work out if she should break into that house and rescue him because she knew it would take forever for the authorities to do it
I had so much anger when I first heard of this case, I was shocked to my core and disgusted by the so called “parents” every kid deserves love and this poor baby didn’t have the chance to get to know what it felt like. I’m happy to know that the pigs that did this to him will rot in jail. Rest In Peace Gabriel you will be remembered❤️🕊.
If you see the Netflix series his adopted fathers were going to get him but one of them couldn’t help because he got deported. He started tearing up on camera because he said he had never felt pain in his life but “they tortured my baby!....” and that has heartbreaking.
They Just Make me Sick that they can live with what they done knowing what they have done and he can't be brought back its Digusting the Judge Was Right about everything he said I Hope They Have Nightmares 2 from the Actions
How can anyone hurt their own baby?! I will never understand. The thought of my babies in pain, upset, sad, anything other than happy just makes me sick to my stomach. I don't understand and never will understand how some parents don't love their children like I love mine. No words to describe it and no words to describe how it feels to be loved by them. Makes me so sad knowing there are children out there right now suffering
Yeah. She was probably just doing it because she wanted people to feel bad for her and because she’d be in prison. If she’d never been caught she wouldn’t have even thought about Gabriel
I'm so mad. If I remember correctly, the stepdad got a death sentence, right? The mom only somehow kinda apologized and confessed to avoid the death penalty too! They should have been trialed together, she should have gotten it too! To me, she even was the one who started it all (I mean, the abuse, the night where it killed the kid). She was *his mother* and she let all that happen to him, SHE DID THAT to him and she got it easy (the only comfort I find here is that she gets bullied and attacked by other inmates in jail). I find it mind-boggling that things like "deals" exist for people who are clearly guilty and would deserve the maximum sentence. It annoys me even more because I truly believe in this case, she carried more guilt in the events than the dude did.
not cuz she dosent want to go jail, she probably knew what was gonna happen, however she just probably tried to feel sympathy in front of he parents and stuff
Gabriel seemed like such a kind loving little boy. He made a mother's day card despite everything that happened and said that his mom was beautiful and that he loved her. Genuinely heartbreaking.
My sister is a school teacher of yearly years. I remember how much it devastated her when she first heard of this case. And I remember my students telling me about it the next day they heard the news.
