People can be married for decades, and it doesn't mean they're happy! If not, why remain in misery! I believe people take the content of vows way out of portion... it's like staying with a person who abuses you physically, mentally ,and financially, all because of a vow you remain. WAKE UP people a vow can land you the hospital or cemetery!

I believe most people really try to honor their vows, but not at the price of being constantly unhappy or perhaps at risk for one's safety, abuse, physical, mental, and financial. I think for better or worse, at times, can really be taken out of context. Especially if a person is being mistreated and abused.

Because we can only live a lie for so long and they’ve prolly been separated for years. That’s how some of my friends do it. Stay separated for years and then submit that paperwork….
39 years of marriage doesn't mean it was a happy marriage. Sometimes, people just outgrow each other.Regardless of how many years.Why remain with a person you're no longer happy with?

I think her girl tina Knowles done got in her ear or she want to follow behind her . Or it could be for 39 years she ignored and put up with stuff we don’t know and want to spend the rest of her years free and not bonded. Maybe she out grew him or he just don’t want to do things she wants, but I’m sure they tired to save their marriage. I pray they can still love separate with no bad ill towards each other.🤷🏼♀️

@@mzmekanette 75 to 80 percent of women are filing the divorces. So all those women had " issues" that were bad enough that the just had to file divorce? What it is with western women BW in particular are more " independent" now. Less agreeable and combative. Add on no fault divorces and the fact she tends to gain more from divorce you have a recipe for disaster
@@mzmekanette Well the nature of marriage has changed. The creation of " no fault" divorce and alimony has incentivized women to break up their homes. There is a 51 percent divorce rate and 70 to 80 percent of women file them. I find it interesting all these women have issues that warrant a divorce

Yes, because everything isn’t what it seems, and some people are separated many years b4 going back in front of a judge. They don’t deem it necessary to file that paperwork ever so quickly. It’s best to “be free” in the last and final hour. The matrix already provides enough chaos as it is.

Mathis used to always joke on the show about how his wife would do stuff. But we don’t know what was going on. Some people ignore red flags to stay in relationships. A woman leaving his type of stature though at her age makes you wonder if there is something wrong with him or there's someone else. Some people or individuals stay together for some type of convenience.

Dang married for 39 years and want a divorce, that is sad 😢 However, I do not know what happened behind closed doors so I cant judge, but its still sad.
Don't matter how long you been together when there's no more love and respect leave I been married for 15 yrs and me and my wife bout to divorce as long as I got life I'm not going to let someone bring me down.

Life is short, some people just want to spend their last good years without the drama or lies or whatever. The kids are grown, each person has a bucket list. Sometimes you need to live life by yourself to be happy. Forever, for ever ever? That's a long time. Every one can't do forever ever. Peace to them both.
A family that prays together stays together. Keeping the Most High God commandments in a marriage is very important. Social media has broken up more families than any other decades in history.
This day in time marriage is really a scam and doesn't benefit the man at all especially here in America. But then again maybe his wife sat at the table with Mr Charlie andehe offered her a much better deal !!!
She must be coming into some money. In the filing it says she wants spousal support from him but she wasn't to make sure he doesn't get spousal support from her. Women does that a lot when they get a couple of dollars in their pockets.
