Beautiful Judge Lynn Toler, I just learned of the passing of your soul mate. My deepest sympathy to you on your loss. I've watched you for years share your personal stories in court and you've encouraged so many people with your love stories and confidence. July 18th will be 7 years my husband of 34 years passed. Not only do I understand your pain: A lady called me about a mix-up on a bill, and I lashed out and told her, "He's dead." And felt a little bit of relief from the shock I caused. I share this to say yes we are all human and we all experience pain. I encourage you to connect with a Griefshare group in your area. Every one of us has an appointed time to leave this earth, but please treasure the good times and the fun memories you've had. Don't be hard on yourself as you adjust to your "new normal" and yes, he's definitely trying to tell you to get up out of that bed and start living the next chapter of your life. Every day is a new gift, and you have the choice on how you want to spend each one. I'm praying for you and the heart ache you're living through. May God give you strength to face each day. ❤
My Dearest Judge Toler, I just learned of your spouse Eric died. I am sorry for your loss. I so wished there was something I could do or say to help you but I am unable to grant that for you. Please know you are cared about and are highly loved and admired. This period of time will come to an end. Try not to lose yourself in your sorrow. Hold on, but this weight will lift.
