Wow....man! What a coincidence...I first heard this when I was 12 yrs old too. Now I am 68 and still every so often listen to it again. When I was 21/22 years old I felled in love with a sweet girl by the name of (you guess!) Judy.
I was at high school when I wrote the lyrics to this song and my friend made the tune...then he sent it to a place where anyone could pick up a tune who wanted to record it There's heaps of our music out there picked up by whoever wanted to record it

Wow...I almost forgot about this song in all these years until now. If I remember correctly the last time I heard of this song was in 1970 or 71. I was 15 still in Vietnam then and I am 66 now living in US, too much memories and thank you for taking me back to my teen years.
