Seeing Julia cry talking about JK News makes me so sad. She was the first hostess that I saw when I started watching the show back in 2014. She was an amazing host and did everything she could to make the show better (and she did a damn good job). We appreciate you Julia and we love what you did for the show. Your contributions to JK News lives on and you paved the way for new hosts. Julia and Tiff deserve more respect, and if anyone has anything negative to say about either one of them I'm fighting.

Honestly if you go back to the last couple episodes Julia hosted the comments are so toxic and mean. You have to be a really strong person mentally to put up with that kind of negativity on a daily and seeing her cry right now makes me so sad

Julia's hosting didn't bother me at all. All I came for was for the entertainment. I could care less of the article. Great episode I enjoyed it.

I love that David acknowledges the work and pressure females have with their appearance and thinks about how he'd want his future daughter to be treated before making judgments on women. If you're a bully or thinking about becoming a bully just remember this one thing: The feeling of power you get when you make someone cry only lasts for 5 minutes but then you have to live the rest of your life hiding a lie. What do I mean when I say you have to live hiding a lie? What are you going to say when your kids ask you "Daddy have you ever been in a fight or won a fight?" You're going to have to lie unless of course you want them to know that the only fight you've ever won was over the internet against a girl and you used a weapon.... your keyboard. They would laugh so hard at how much of a pussy their dad is for packing a keyboard like it was heat. I suspect you would never tell the truth so you'll go to your grave with your dirty little lie and for what? All for 5 minutes of feeling powerful. Julia is the real winner in this fight

I want to formally apologize to you Julia, seeing you like this crying and talking about how you felt opened my eyes to what I was doing, I was one of those rude commenters, I was a stupid 12 year old that would make jokes about you to get stupid likes and comment reactions , and now that I am way older and now that years have passed I have matured realized that I had no right to make those jokes. I have been watching jk news ever since I was 11 and now that I am 17 I am glad I discovered Jk news because it basically raised me and taught me many things that I will always use as tools for my future decisions. I hope those people leaving negative comments for Julia feel really bad... The number one reason I subscribed to JK was because I thought (still do) the people there were hilarious and genuine. The topic came second. The video could be about a guy who found out his wife was her sister the whole time and they'd spend 10 minutes talking about their neighbor's dog. I just like the conversation and the jokes.

Just to get it out there weeaboo/weeb is a non-Japanese person who is obsessed with Japanese culture (or sub-culture: anime) to the point of wanting to be Japanese otaku is someone who likes Japanese anime, manga, and/or light novels Koreaboo is a non-Korean person who is obsessed with Korean culture (e.g. K-pop) to the point of wanting to be Korean DIfference is anyone can be otaku but Japanese and Korean can't really be weeaboo and Koreaboo, respectively.

I am inspired daily by every member of JK, but NOBODY has given me joy to face some tough days like Julia. It's been a joy to see her grow and improve every video since I started following in like 2013. Sooooo... just thank you. Thank you, Julia. Thank you!

I always assumed the people complaining about Julia were newer fans because those of us who watched for years remember how JKNews was before her, & she was a HUGE improvement.

It was crazy seeing the amount of hate-comments Julia got during JKNews with the amount of positive comments she got on Jkparty at the same time whenever the game included drawing something. JKNews' fanbase brought an entirely different vibe compared to the JKParty fanbase from what I can remember. Props to Julia for sticking with hosting for so long because I remember seeing hate-comments for months-and-months before she left for strictly appearing on JKParty.

I really needed this video. As a new content creator and trying to make something funny or even viewable is really hard because I sometimes feel like its not good , people dont get it or anything at all.I'm even lucky to even be partnered by facebook as a gaming streamer and i still feel like how am i even here. Sometimes on my streams i openly express that im very lucky but im still struggling at the same time. Sometimes i want to give up because of comments and people are very hard to please to be honest. As soon as you brought up how comics end up losing hope or just stop trying i felt like it was relatable. I think as being early into content creating is trying to be likable. Thank you for expressing your thoughts on the subject to remind people like me who just need to focus on what we are good at and people will have admiration for your content or any talent you have. I love how upset David got, once Julia started crying. You could hear it in his voice. That just shows how much he cares for her and thinks of her, as if she was his own little sister. 💖

This such a great idea. The lack filter is beautiful and much appreciated! Seeing all these stories without a filter allow for more of a connection and understanding.

I'm not sure whether David or Julia will ever read this, but 2 ongoing anime that's showing a lot of promise this season are "The Promised Nevereverland" and "Dororo". One anime movie that's fairly underrated is "In This Corner of the World" - it's reminiscent of "Grave of the Fireflies" with the setting being around the times of WWII in Japan.

I'm feel sorry for Julia. Tbh Julia was my favorite part of jk news. She was cute and quirky in the best possible way and had unique outlooks on things. Sad to see her go for that reason but happy for her because she found something that actually made her happy.

Once a week I do my meal prep for the following week and I always listen to your podcast because it takes me around the length of the video to do. You and your guest, that I've been watching for years, give me so much insight on life and love and I want to thank you for it. Hope I get to do it in person one day.

I love Julia’s story about how she dealt with anxiety and stress. It’s not easy... I worked a job that I wanted to love but kept messing up. My anxiety got to the point that a simple spelling mistake would bring me to tears. I’m so happy that Julia’s learned that her mistakes don’t define her. This interview helped me see that I’m not the only one whose felt like this. Great video guys!

I know how Julia feels. I am like Julia in so many ways. I am awkward and I am not always perfect. I can get cringy sometimes when I get comfortable with people. It's so hard when you want to be normal just like everyone else but you're functioned and built differently mentally. Julia, don't cry. It's not your fault. Bullies online always find someone to hate on because they have low self esteem. You're very inspirational. You never gave up. It's nice to see someone like you on RU-vid who blossoms and opens up. It tells other people that being different shouldn't stop you from achieving something you want.

I love David and Julia and Jk and all the crews and I appreciate everything they have done throughout these years! Julia you're so strong to address how you felt miserable as a host. It's so true that not everyone is meant for that kind of work with all the comments berating and destroying your self confidence. As someone with anxiety I can only imagine how horrible it was! But hearing your experience encourages me to focus on what I do best and thrive in instead of trying to be someone I'm not. I've always been in the position of extrovert jobs and feeling like I'm not good enough or talented enough. Seeing that your so much happier in production makes me realize I just need to find where I thrive too :)

It's so interesting to listen to Julia's early years and her background (studies in college). The animation background got me thinking if Julia enjoy animation, would there be another awesome animation (or "animatic" lol) channel? But I love and support what Julia do, it's great to find what you like to do :) Btw, I didn't know David also likes anime, that's so cool.
