Travelling around Australia in our Red Centre Caravan we arrived at Julia Creek Caravan Park located in Queensland. The Artesian baths are located at the rear of the park with amazing views that show how vast Australia really is. The Artesian water is one of the largest artesian groundwater basins in the world. It extends 2400km in length and 1800km at its widest point. Its estimated volume of water is 64,900 million megalitres.

Julia Creek. That's way out woop-woop. I used to know someone who went to work in Winton and that was bad enough. The baths look super cared for and CLEAN! That's the way it should be. Don't worry about the corrugated iron. It's so old fashioned, it looks sort of modern now.

Unfortunately I don’t have any vids around this area, haven’t been there yet. Not sure if you follow a RU-vid channel called ‘Gone caravanning’ he has heaps of videos using a drone, not sure if he has one in this area, might be worth a look.Thanks for your comment. Cheers!
