I also think that she was afraid that she would not be able to take in and process more than 4 words at a time, and this could be another reason why she kept interrupting him mid-sentence. She appears to have the attention span of a fruit fly; this, coupled with her blatant racism, bigotry, and malicious intent, makes a deadly combination.

As a woman seeing another woman trying to weaponise her gender is abhorrent especially when 50,000 Palestinian women are pregnant with little no hospital care by the “only democratic country in the Middle East”. Honestly, I feel so sorry for this woman. I can't imagine how bitter, unhappy and in desperate need of attention you have to be, in order to behave like a spoilt teenager when you are an old woman. In fact, I feel deeply sorry for every single person who have to deal with her in their lives.
Hartley -Brewer's credentials to be a journalist are equivalent to Donald Trump"s credentials to be a quantum physicist. Barghouti dismantled her and she had a tantrum, in part to try and cover that up.

I physically recoiled when my husband played me the audio. The sneering racism and unhinged, unprofessional tone made me have such a visceral reaction. Just a disgusting woman. She doesn't have to be neutral or even objective IMHO, but she does have to at least give the appearance of being sane. I think this Palestinian politician handled her very well. In 10 sec., he told us what the path forward should be. I say, "No, to this anti-democratic, imperialist Israeli state and yes, to peace in the former British protectorate of Palestine.
What shocked me the most is that she's calling him by his first name and not by his family name as it should be: Mr Albarghouti! No she's calling him Mustapha ! And he stated in an arab interview that he had never met her before and was confused by this proximity!!!
Unfortunately it's not journalism, it's 'media'. The object is not to inform the public, it is to enflame and enrage, in order to maintain consumer engagement. To be fair, it's not only the right that does this. Simon Tisdall does exactly the same thing in the Guardian.

Seeing this for a second time today just made me feel incredibly sick to my stomach AGAIN. The way she completely loses it... is worse than unprofessional. It's embarrassing. Disgusting behaviour. After watching this eloquent man speak so brilliantly in other interviews, to see him insulted in this manner breaks my soul. If i ever see her face again I might just vomit.
As a woman myself i cannot tolerate such behavior from her. The man was respectful and only challenged her pushed narrative, yet she lashed out on him. She didn't show any respect from the start, by calling him Mustapha constantly when they don't even know each other.
