I love the way she presents the recipes and herself on her channel. She comes across like that friendly, helpful, neighbour next door that I wish I had. Her recipes are easy to follow and sooo delicious! I'm a semi-disabled senior citizen with a form of Still's Disease (A.O.S.D.) which limits the use of my hands, yet I happily discovered that these recipes are possible for me to complete on my own. I bought three of these cookbooks to give two as gifts, and one for myself, yet I'm planning to buy a few more! 😊
Good to know. Never heard of this channel or this cookbook author. But it sounded interesting. Maybe a cookbook I might want to check out more. Disappointed in the first review. The recipe was changed. I understood this was the idea, critique the recipes in the book. You can't do an adequate job of review if you change the product. Now you're critiquing your own recipe. The German pancakes, I don't have enough information on the original recipe. It sounds like the recipe was followed but only the topping was added. Ok. I still don't have an opinion about this cookbook or this channel.
Another thing, if what you say is true and this author, Pacheco, is charging for this cookbook, it sounds like she's profiting off the backs of others. Very unprofessional and unethical.
@@gayledowden5630 I mean, some of the recipes she makes are found on budgeting cookbooks. Though I do think her introducing the recipes to people should entitle her to some money from the book.
@pinkeye459 I use recipes all the time. And sometimes I let my friends think they're mine if they're good. But I'm not publishing them in a cookbook under my name. If Pacheco Is taking recipes from others, she needs to give credit under the recipe and probably should get permission. I don't know if cookbooks have the same legal ramifications as other published work. Pacheco may be introducing others to great recipes, but without permission from the original, she is still making money off someone else's work.
