Religion makes you forget about fiction. No, reading Harry Potter won't lead me to demons. Your fear creates the curiosity, a good way to make a kid do something is to the tell them not to do it

that depends on the church. some UU churches stick with their christian roots and others are more atheist/agnostic leaning.

Interesting. I read the book, "The Shack" but didn't see the movie and she saw the movie but apparently didn't read the book. The book is a lot deeper than the movie, apparently.

I don't need anyone to explain to me why I don't believe in god. For the same reason I don't believe Harry Potter is real, or the Wizzard of oz. They were invented by man and never intended to be seen as real life.
