Quoting the NFL rulebook here, one defenseless posture is: "A player who is protected from an illegal crackback block" further quoting the rulebook: "forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head or neck area with the helmet, facemask, forearm, or shoulder, even if the initial contact is lower than the player’s neck, and regardless of whether the defensive player also uses his arms to tackle the defenseless player by encircling or grasping him." Had to be 1 of the best blocks of the year in the nfk that year. Maybe even a top 10 of all time. That was absolutely monstrous and completely legit. No leaning in with the helmet no bad technique. He used his whole shoulder and side of his body as weight abd leverage abd totally crushed him side to side with all his weight. That was as textbook as textbook can get.
