I dont care if he’s a HoF or not. He’s the ULTIMATE underdog. His heart, his competitiveness, his moxie, he defined what it meant to be a team player. One of the most clutch players ever. He played the game until his body completely fell apart. Thank you so much for the memories Edelman! ❤️💙

For those of us in New England we know how valuable Jules was. He was money, especially when it mattered most. The Pats were 3 for 3 in SB with Jules on the field. I have no doubt if he would have been on the field against the Eagles Brady would have eight rings. I could careless about the HOF. Jules you will always be loved in New England, thank you.

Julian Endelman is the guy you want right beside you in the trenches. His desire, spirit and sheer guts always found a way. He played hard and he played until he couldn’t anymore. Julian Endelman embodies the Patriot Way. Hard working, underdog with a never say die attitude who’d play in any position on the field if it meant he got to cross the white lines and be part of the action. Tom Brady was the face and mind of the franchise on the field but Endelman was the heart ❤️ He’ll never be replaced.... #Squirrel 🐿🏆🏆🏆

Tearing up because I hate the media so much that they don't understand. He is the very heart of what the Hall of Fame should have. It can't just be statistics. It has to be the stories. It can't always be the Goliaths beating everybody. It loses its soul if you don't also have the Davids beating the Goliaths over and over again. He is one of the Mighty Men and you would keep his story out of the history books.

HOF has people not only with the greatest talent or numbers but those who have the most passion for the game. Someone who was looked down upon due to his build, never got a scholarship, was not invited to the combine but still insisted on going to the NFL. He didnt care what his position was and he did his best on all positions he was placed whether it was a punt returner, a receiver or a defender. Without his game turning catches in the post season and on the SB, it can even be said that the Pats would have lost so he deserves to be in the HOF.

He had all the intangibles. Rising to the big games, ability to play defense, pugnacity, willpower, energy, quickness, etc. You can't just look at him walk down the street, know his height and weight, and stat's, and understand what he brings to a team.

Toughest sob

Julian Edelman is an inspiration. I am not the biggest guy, even a little smaller than Julez. Being from the greater Boston area, I really looked up to him. He was the toughness that Boston represents. He was the blue collar workhorse that nobody says was good enough. Too small, too short, not big enough, words I have heard my entire life. I wore 11 because of Julez, in every sport. It was a privilege to watch him play and operate every Sunday. Julian was more than just a football player to the Patriots. He represented the city’s pride and for all sports. Wearing the Celtics Jersey, Bruins cap and Boston fitted. This man was a legend to the city of Boston. Thank you for everything Julez. There will never be another you. You helped me build my self confidence and not care about my size. You are a true inspiration and you shined the brightest when the stages were the biggest. There will never be another Julian Edelman.

Edelman wasn't a stat padding guy, he never was. He lived for the biggest and most important moments, and no matter how great you are and how many stats you stack up, if you aren't at your best when it matters most, than you cant be the best. He's the ultimate clutch player. no ego, hard working, multi purposed, leader, and overall stand out player. People will use his stats against him until the day he makes the HoF. Personally, the way I see it, there are two kinds of hall of famers. First there's the monsters, the freaks. Those players that you look at and you cant believe they're human (look at Gronkowski, Randy Moss, Aaron Rodgers). players with abilities and talent that no other player can match. Second though is a different kind of great player. They're the leaders, the ones who may not be the most talented outright, may not be the biggest stat producers or the most athletic. They don't win through talent but through incredible leadership, unmatched work ethic, competitiveness like no one else has, the toughest, and the most clutch. This is where I put Tom Brady, Joe Montana, John Elway. Most Great players are of the first category, but Edelman, in a position comprising almost entirely of pure talent players, is of the second category. I think the closest receiver of that type to ever becoming a hall of famer, in my opinion at least. Players with these qualities rarely get recognized outside of qb, and even for qb's its fairly rare, because the only metric other than seeing their impact on the game or being within the team to understand how impactful they are is how many games they win, and we just don't measure positions by playoff or superbowl wins unless its quarterback or coach. So unfortunately I think people will try for a very long time to discredit, but I truly believe that anyone who has ever played with him, or has ever seen first hand his impact on his team and witnessed his plethora of game changing moments in big spots will advocate for a spot in canton for this tough ass clutch receiver.

Everyone knows the Atlanta catch but he also caught game winning TD against Seattle, won sb mvp vs rams, countless 3rd down catches where he got absolutely rocked and held on to the ball. don't we expect great players to step up in the biggest moments? To those who don't understand the Hall of Fame talk: It is not about him being good enough for the Hall. The "problem" is that other legends have yet to make it in who have been waiting some time - at the same position of WR no less. Jules belongs in the HoF, and so does Hines Ward - who has been waiting since 2017 (retired in 2012). The Hall of Fame has changed from a small elite boys club to the true museum of the NFL, and you cannot tell the story of the NFL without the Patriots dynasty - which cannot be told without Edelman.

HoF in my book I watched this dude play qb at Kent state vs BC never did I think I would see him watch him win an mvp in super bowl ultimate Boston pride blue collar hard working reliable grinder! If bucs cut AB I can see Jules coming in!

He is the reason I can't stand football analysts and experts. They say he is not HOF material. Know why? Because it's a freaking popularity contest. Post season second to Jerry Rice. Made some the hardest catches and made them look easy. Played both ways. Has punt returns that were difficult runs. It's a matter of who you are and how well you are liked rather than your ability or record. The very reason I and my friends no longer watch the NFL.

this is the thing, you are showing highlight after highlight but it was also the routine. no matter what, you could count on him. he made big catches, he also made a lot.... of small catches!!! not just a highlight reel, but steady, tough, dogged, chirppy. watch his first 2 seasons. you will see it come together in front of you.
