Powered by: www.eurovision.tv Eurovision.tv goes back in time. We start in 2004. Julie & Ludwig represented Malta at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with the song On Again ... Off Again. Julie & Ludwig came in 12th place with 50 points.
Eurovision’s been like a family event at home. I had 14 years back than. My parents loved this duet. They still listen to this in their road trips. And I love their seeing their faces when listening to this and cheerish their relationship. :))
*On Again... Off Again* Lyrics: Look at me, I need some attention I'm a girl of serious intention Just like a butterfly My wings can take me high To touch your piece of sky Though I can fly away Play cool, or run away I choose to hold your love More than one night You're everything and nothing in one (What do you mean?) Our love goes from the north to the south (I disagree) I just can't understand anymore What we have in common On again, off again Like the rhythm of rain We need to decide Find an end to this game Such wonderful times Many natural highs Love is a flame that we can never tame On again, off again Why, oh why can't I live without you? How, oh how do I reach inside you? My love is justified I simply had enough I want you by my side Am I your fantasy? Mystery? Or destiny? Do you take me for a ride? Please, tell me now You're the air, you're the love that I breathe (That sounds so good) You're the magic that flows from within (I feel that too) We come close, then we move far away Can't we stay together? On again, off again Like the rhythm of rain We need to decide Find an end to this game Such wonderful times Many natural highs Love is a flame that we can never tame On again, off again There's a river between us And I need you to come across Reach out for my heart Keep this feeling so alive Love grows, we survive On again, off again Like the rhythm of rain We need to decide Find an end to this game Such wonderful times Many natural highs Love is a flame that we can never tame On again, off again Off again, on again Like a flickering flame That dies in the wind And lights up again Such wonderful times Many natural highs Love iѕ a flame we can never tame On again, off again On again, off agаin
when i was four i sang this into my pe teacher's microphone (so everyone could hear her through the speakers) when she wasn't looking everyone ignored my (definitely not) flawless performance because little did i know the microphone was off
My mind is a strange place. When talking about ESC entries it randomly switches between this entry, My Galileo from Belarus and Hard rock Hallellujah from Finland.
I remember this song its so cool and catchy its been 20 years now Malta have many good songs from such a small country i wish this had won Malta deserves a winner. Julie Zahra has a great voice and sings Soprano on the fly in this song and ludwig can sing well saw them later on a video singing the same song i think it was a reunion of Maltese songs she looks well and ludwig too. Julie now nearly 42 is a member of the Maltese Parliament and i reckon she still sings occasionally and ludwig i reckon his still singing too
Their voices don't match, She's off key, his performance is close to embarrassing. Look how he concentrates on his dance moves. A great example for Ralph Siegel's trashy compositions.
Altonahh10 Agrees. Needed more work on the singing part. On the other hand, you try be a guy never done performance in front of whole of Europe and not be nervous. I love the song anyways, gives me a big smile every time
