Julie's Joke Animatic - //Welcome Home Audio// 

It was a blast doing the music for this thing, I've always wanted to fit music to an animatic/animation! Here's to us getting more stuff done...eventually! Now go REST, WEEV ❤ We did good!

I can't decide whether Wally looks stoned out of his mind though out this whole interaction or if he looks like he's actively disassociating with himself.

The character acting is AMAZING and Wally just dissociating 👏👏

It’s officially my head canon that when Barnaby hears a terrible joke, a bit of him dies inside

everyone is SO expressive, also the Wally split second change from silent blank stare to a look of...dread? ACES!

It’s Wally’s face at the end for me cause that is the exact feeling of “oh i have no idea what’s going on rn” after dissociating

Julie quickly became my favorite character in this horror disquised as a children's show that never existed

oh my gosh I love the angry sound effects to make it really sound like it was on the show and Julie's expressions were so well drawn with emotion! The choreography for Barnaby "dying" was so nice too and so creative instead of him just sitting there! I also like the fact that the camera would also pan to Wally at times to show his silent presence, this is th best animatic I've seen so far when animating the audio files!

How easy was it to make this animatic? A walk in the park! Keep being weird and wonderful everyone!

I feel like Im watching an episode of Welcome Home - y'know? I was chuckling along and laughing , even now I know the jokes but the expressions and thier actions are so good! I love it! 😊❤

The background music makes it so much better. Also the way Wally like wakes up from zoning out is awesome

I kinda love how Julie just keeps getting visibly pissed at Barnaby’s teasing. I now see them canonically having a silly little rivalry with each other. 😂 And Wally of course is in his own little world at the moment. 👁️👁️

This is a wonderfully done animatic! The acting is really, really well considered- full of personality. And this may be an odd thing to compliment, but I truly appreciate how much an *animatic* it is- it's not *too* cleaned up, has a really wonderful limited palette, and makes use of only showing the shift in motion where it *matters*. Really, really wonderful work

I love Julie's expressions! She's so cute when she's angry!🤣 I could also tell that Barnaby was enjoying picking on her! I also loved Wally's expression at the end. You could clearly tell he was snapping out of his little "staring contest" as soon as he heard his name. That was a nice touch. EDIT: The music's also a good touch. I especially loved that flourish at 0:59 and that brass "honk" at 1:29! That was gold!😂

The realization Wally has that it’s just a recording…it’s not real. His friends are gone. 💀 Lovely animation, the body language especially Barnaby’s was just gold with the tie choke and the falling over, each expression more killer than the last! Julie looked ready to maul Barnaby 😂 You really nailed reconstructing what this audio would look like in the show!

This is absolutely delightful! The timing and camera work is so good! I wish real puppets could get this many expressive full body shots lol

This was a really well done animatic. I honestly felt like I was watching a scene from a kids show. Julie and Barnaby's expressions were so cute and funny. Also when it glitches out after Julie said Wally's name, Wally's face was so GOOD!!!!

I like how Wally just stares into the void like he's day dreaming or smrh, and when Julie says his name he's face turns something like: "Eh?.. What did I loose?" Or something like: "I have no idea what's going on rn-" 😭😂

“I have a joke that’ll knock your head off!” *Cutely gets flashbacks from that one image of barnaby without a head*

Goodness seeing Wally's expression change so sudden like that actually surprised me poor bby

The background music and choreography is just downroght delightful. It changes from Barnaby just being a jerk to him being a playful uncle that likes to give people a hard time. I also love that the flower Barnaby picks up has a spiral

I love how Wally just looks like he's high out of his mind for the entire video until Julie acknowledges him lmao

In every animation I've seen so far about Welcome Home, atleast the ones with the voice tapes/audio, it always has Wally just spacing out... Amazing.

I was listening to the BG music and something about it feels nostalgic? Even though I never heard it in my life. It suits with this particular scene, so good job whoever did it! I love that you kept Wally disassociated the whole time till the very end! I remember watching a RU-vidr talking about Wally’s disassociating until someone brings him back to the conversation

I can't stress enough how happy I am that I discovered this. This is one of my favourite audio's from the new update and you drew everyone so fricking well. Barnaby drawn like the jolly jokester he is in in every frame and expression. Jullie switching from annoyed, to excited about telling her joke, to fricking frowning like Frank in the most adorable way possible. And Wally looking completely ZIONKED during their conversation wil be how I imagine him in each of these when I listen to them. If I don't give this a like I might as well gringe at myself as hard as Barnaby from Jullie's joke.😂 Excellent work.

This is so incredible!! the animation is so expressive, I love all of Barnaby's reactions to Julie's naïve enthusiasm, the occasional cuts to Wally disassociating (possibly being in contact with Earth?) and the payoff of the dread when he realizes he has to come back to play his part. The music is phenomenal as well, I didn't even realize it wasn't part of the original-- and I watched the original! That's how well it fits!

Guess Barnaby thought Julie's joke was just...a bunch of fluff. This was so cute! It was all so perfect, I'm gonna be gushing about this for awhile. Barnaby and Julie are just expressive (especially Barnaby, goodness what a ham). Julie's just a sweetie, she's just as funny as Barnaby! No matter what the dog says. XD And Wally's just...just there.
