I was in a Tea Room somewhere on the outskirts of Melbourne (brother's idea)..on a blazing hot day. I visit every Xmas. He ordered the tea. The staff were all old ladies.taking their time serving and chatting behind the counter. The tea took Forever and I was extremely Parched. From the other end of the cafe an old biddy, who must have been 80+, exactly like Mrs Overall was approaching at a snails pace with our tea and scones. I had a hard time keeping a straight face when brother announced, lovely! Our tea is here! I remarked, isn't she a bit old to be a waitress??( Suppressed giggles).. He was adamant! And said , Hey! Here in Australia, it's equal opportunities, and No Age discrimination! !! Meh! 😁😁😁😁 That was definitely Mrs Overall for real, but without the onion baajis..!
