Deion visits the falcons training camp to tap into Julio's knowledge about how he beats NFL defensive coverages that are specifically designed for him.
+FOT2010 dammmmmmm !!!! I didnt even notice the typo until now !!!! FUCK ! I will never look at this comment the same why did u have to bring that to my attention !! Aaaaaahhhh !
+antiignorant that's my point though, you've tried it. so either you're a coach or a player,rule#1 never give away your secrets to success. make them mfers work for it! I know julio is the real deal,I've been watching him since high school but this just sounds to realistic on how he releases off the line and comes out of his routes, open hips etc. if u played sports u know what I mean. its the game within the game that sometimes gives certain players that edge over other another and it has to do with the psychological part of it,just as much as the physical part aswell. but then again when you're a bad mfer, they can know and still can't stop it. #imposeyourwill!
+e. williams a cover 6 might stop Julio but you are going to have trouble with white if you line him up on the opposite side of the formation and also opens up the longball
+e. williams Cover 6 stops a lot of receivers. It's Cover 2 to the target and Cover 4 away. It's essentially bracket coverage while staying in zone concepts. CB underneath, S over the top, and LB playing Hook/Curl inside. Deion says "It's 2 Man", but it's not. 2 Man is two high safeties playing deep 1/2 with Man coverage underneath. Cover 6 is designed to play 3 on 1 or 2.5 to 1 to a dominant receiver.
Not only Julio Jones is one of the best receivers of today. But he also has a great attitude and a great respect for the game. Deion Sanders is definitely one of the best to ever play the game at his position. And to credit and compliment Julio that says a lot. 💯
Wow....crazy how respectful julio is. I bet if you asked T.O. His rookie year who the best wr on the 49ers was, hed say himself. I didnt know attitudes like this still existed. I'm so used to babies like odell and dez crying over anything anybody says about them
A Train isn't athletic it's just pure power and plows through and runs you over! JIM BROWN was a BEAST! Opponents said they were scared to death to try and tackle him. There will never be another JIM BROWN!!!!
Hall of Famers weren't Hall of Famers until years after they retired... so it's pretty obvious he's not at that level...doesn't mean he's not a great player.
It would have been funny if Deion was just like, I didn’t need to tackle because people either didn’t throw my way, or when they did, I was the one making the catch.
You people is slow deion has one of the fastest time ever clocked in the columbine 40 yard dash. So to say it wasn't no one in his time that ran as fast as Calvin . I say who care cuz Calvin never ran a 4.1 I. The 40 so stop it with this speed talk deion, Darrel green, and Galloway are the fastest people to ever touch the NFL ..
roxas the rogue According to fantasy football. Antonio brown earns more points than any other reciever. Meaning he must have superior stats. Sooo.. He's not exactly a bech warmer...
roxas the rogue There's no need for name calling. And besides. I can name plenty more receivers better than megatron. Julio jones. Jordy Nelson. Randall Cobb. Dez Bryant.
Now I see why Tony Gonzlez went to the Falcons. Because no receivers on that team are getting hot headed about who should be getting the ball more often.
***** not dez, aj green is the next t.o. minus all the shenanigans. hes lanky, fast, good hands and plays for the bengals which doesnt mean anything but just my opinion
That 2013-2014 Falcons Receiving corps is wanna the GREATEST the league has ever seen!! Roddy, Julio, Tony G., and Harry Douglas! Maaaaaaaan pick ya poison bruh!! #RISEUP
Christopher Bell I dont know man...Deion may have tossed around by Julio but whatever he lossed in physicality he would have made up for with his speed and jumping ability. EASILY. He could definitely cover him on an out route or post. Across the middle...maybe not.
joshua pollard Deion is a freak that comes around once every 20 or thirty years. If he had played BBall full time he would have gone down as one of the best lead off hitters, well below Rickey Henderson of course.
I remember seeing this not long after it was posted. Julio never let his individual success get to him, nor did he stray away from the selfless mentality. No surprise he was so successful. Breaks my heart he didn’t get the ring he deserved though. That catch in the super bowl is overshadowed by the loss, but I’ve never seen a catch like that before or since. One of my all time favorites.
Deion was the greatest cover corner ever, and that's coming from a Lester Hayes/ Mike Haynes fan. He would hold Julio to 1 catch for 9yds in a meaningful game.
He was not. I don't care how many people repeat that line or how many times, it just ain't true. Deion was the most overrated cornerback ever; hands down. Even during his prime, if I had to pick one corner to cover the other teams' top receiver each week, I would've taken either Rod Woodson, Eric Allen, Terry McDaniel, Albert Lewis, or maybe even Troy Vincent or Gill Byrd, ahead of Deion Sanders. All of them were great 1 on 1 shutdown guys, except they weren't afraid to put their shoulders down & make a tackle too. Especially guys like Woodson & Allen; they sought out opportunities to make a hit.
Vernon McClain I don't blame him for not wanting to tackle, did you see what happened to Rod Woodson when he went for Barry Sanders? If you have Deion's speed and jumping ability, you avoid the ground game as much as possible.
@Dhikshith Gajulapalli honestly, if my team was as dysfunctional as the falcons, choking away wins like the wins are (insert clever comparison here) & then choking away a good pick in the draft by blowing teams away late in the season, i'd prefer a situation like the bears or jets (especially the jets), cuz at least their problems can be fixed easier
@Dhikshith Gajulapalli good point. i don't know if i'd prefer the falcons to them though, especially the jets. there's a difference between knowing your team has talent & squanders it & knowing your team is just hot garbage with very little talent
@Dhikshith Gajulapalli well, this season y'all have blown a shit ton of leads & then squandered any chance of a good draft pick, so i'd say you do have talent, but your management personnel can't get their shit together
Julio vs Prime is pretty even....the key is the QB. You need a QB confident enough with a good enough arm to throw Julio open. Otherwise it's a pick 6.
+Courtnee Clark-Evans jerry rice and irvin were route runners though. They were beast at running mid range routes weren't deep threats like randy moss. Irvin especially was a king at slant routes. When it comes to deep threat guys like moss you know where they're going so in a way it's easier to cover them.... in theory... in reality no one can cover moss cause he's so fast haha but Covering Rice and Irvin is pretty fucking hard to do because they were so good at running routes and they knew how to get to the spot they wanted to get and how to get away from the corner. If Deion could cover Irvin's slant route I'm 200 percent sure he could cover julio jones in a slant route despite all those fancy releases he did in this video. Irvin was the slant route king bottomline
This is fantasticly hysterical! Julio Jones showing how he's going to juke his defender, and then Deion shoots back like "sorry, sucker, but I done seen that play thousands of times before. You best come up with something else."
+buddyjesus I dont think better than megatron but he should definitely be on here somewhere. Megatron had like 1950 yards recieving one of those years no one topped that.
Current Top 5: 1. Antonio Brown 2. Julio Jones 3. Deandre Hopkins 4. Odell Beckham, Jr. 5. Dez Bryant A fit Jordy Nelson might be in there, but these are the 5 WR I'd pick first for my team based on current form.
Lmao aj green is rapidly way better than Hopkins and obj and fez Bryant haven't even got on aj greens level yet aj greens played 5 years straight and had over 1000 yds receiver every season aj green should be #2 and the first few seasons dalton overthrew every pass and underthrew passes where aj green would of walked into the inzone but he would of had like 1800 yds
+David Merritt i understand that you live in Alaska. This past season does not contain all the deep WR reception. Just watch Julio and Dez make the rest look like a lil bitch. Current doe #joshgordon
