Well, I have my next project at the door. - Carving the box, easy. - Painting the box, difficult to me. - 3D printing the board, easy, - Painting, I’m not that good 😢 - Adding magnets to the figures, easy - Electromagnetic trail below, complex - the display giving the instructions to players, not that easy. - Auto moves when dices are thrown, challenging - If more than a month happened without playing, turn on the drum effect sound when everything is quiet, if someone speaks, stops. funny to try and scary.
+sonicfreak04 The game its self was cursed and probably made with some form of magic or aliens lol maybe even god who knows even though it's a movie it's kind of fun to imagine who made it. The double a batteries kind of gives away the illusion in how Jumanji works and putting in a track system will be tricky since you want it to be the quality like out of the movie Jumanji its self. Magnetizing it would also be hard because there would have to be a mechanism that pulls the pieces and that would be one strong magnet because the pieces couldn't be pulled off they're only off when the game resets. On top of it the animation for the glass gemstone in the center of Jumanji would have to look like out of the movie I was thinking somebody needs to work on a functional Zathura game that works like in the movie. I swear I saw a video with a board game that has working animation not like this one that just lights up and the guy used some kind of screen monitor underneath for the gemstone. It would be nice to actually get a prequel though on who MADE Jumanji any way. Yeah though if I made my own Jumanji game I'd craft it as detailed in the movie and make it creepy it looks more like cherry wood because of the dark color the wood has.
+Explorer812 No if you go through the other video eps the thickness would have raised the board and compromised the look. There are however plans by the original maker of the board to build this kind of setup
+JurassicCollectables Ok thanks... That'd be great! I'd love to see a board with digital screen and that actually reacts by its self when the dice are rolled.
@JurrasicCollectables Could supply downloadable plans, instructions and dimensions for this replica? I want to make my own replica with my dad during this upcoming summer.
If Jumanji/Zathura was real (in the books they were the same game) and I owned it, I would create an elite gamer's club that played Jumanji once a year and charge $20,000 per player with another $20,000 deposit on a contract stating that the player is dedicated to reaching the end. After demand went up, I would double the price, with the original price only applying to returning, proven players.
XmarksgirlforlifeX Trust me, people have the time, especially since time is reset to the moment the game started at the end. Ironically, Jumanji is perfectly safe to play because the consequences are erased.
