To me, it's the lack of respect for something that demands respect. I don't grieve a fool's consequences when they're defiant up to the moment of tragedy.
This place is obviously a hot spot for stupidity. I will remember this spot when I retire. I am looking forward to seeing a good part of the Grand Canyon and I will be filming this spot. I expect to see this going on. And maybe I’ll record someone falling. CWA

I love it when we’re blessed enough or just lucky to survive those immature years of doing dumb shit, and then become the old folks who shake our fingers at the kiddos as they live their own lives learning by trial and error lol.

This isn't the first video I've seen of people jumping in that exact same spot. It must be easy access or something. They need to block it off, or Darwin awards will given to a lot of people...
Some survivors of this sort of nonsense end up in retirement being plagued with ceaseless nightmares and flashbacks night after day. It never fully registers until you have time to think about what you did. (Although hardcore, intentional risk-takers probably don't remember much by then, if they live that long.)
Obviously, it's an easy jump for these guys, but, there really is a Murphy's law, sooner or later it'll catch up to you, I believe in fate, karma, sometimes you take chances and survive, only to be taken in some innocuous event, tread carefully, life has a way of evening things out. Good luck. 🙏

Young people, especially young men, do not have a healthy fear of real danger- they do not see serious consequences. I survived the many foolish risks taken when when young and riding motorcycles very fast, so I have the perspective of experience. It can end badly here in the blink of an eye.
@@liamgross7217 Yes- in some respects, war is a safer bet. They don't understand the risks of battle and psychological impacts that can last a lifetime. That is also why, along with their fitness, the services have conscripted them through the years.

I look forward to finding this place when I get there. After making my own video of the trail’s and the areas I will spend a lot more time taping this spot for the main reason that I want to film some idiot fall. This is how you FIX STUPID. Those are the kind of individuals that screw up the parks along with the free climbers who leave chalk prints all over the rock areas making it look like graffiti.
And what about the lives of the first responders that show up and have to repel down to haul their stupid ass out of the ravine as they cry for mama? It isn't only just about the dope doing stupid things but the people who try to save them, the shattered family they leave behind, etc.
