Just giving out first impressions of the new ( to us ), 2017 Jumping Jack trailer -black out edition-. This is out 4th time out with it and we have a little feel for what it is, and what we can begin to do with it.
Here is a link to the trailer.
www.jumpingjacktrailers.com/6x...
We got the smaller tent from the Explorer so we had a deck available on the mid-size 6x12 trailer.

We have a smaller one, 4x6 and no bounce. Easy set up and tow also.

Awesome! We looked at the smaller ones, but for our future plans, we wanted and needed the one we got. Glad you are out enjoying yours

We don’t yet have any toys to haul. We did get a memory foam topper. We leave flat things inside. Sleeping bags and the Coleman stone. And it’s easy to pull and easy to get out of town. We’re outsideDenver. And love to get out of city.

We don't have any quads/side by sides/ etc yet. We have kayaks that we will place on top if we camp near water. Our future plans are to get quads though, so we got the bigger one. Didn't want to purchase one and then outgrow it. Like you, we try to get out of the city. We are in AZ, but have been wanting to camp in Colorado. Any suggestions on good places to check out? -S

Hey Joseph. Shanda here. Thanks for the comment. Is there anything specific that you would like us to cover?

So I just bought mine and have only taken it on a day trip to ride the sxs, but I'm looking for information on how well the accessories work. I have the sink, water holder, cooler rack, and large awning. I'm looking for tips and tricks, and best practices.

We can definitely go over what we have discovered so far. We just got the large awning, so that might be a little lacking. Just a heads up.

Thanks for the comment David! We love our JJ and will definitely be putting out more videos. We've been camping almost every weekend since we got it. It would certainly be a cool sight to see a camp of JJ's. We are down for that.

Hi Jess. Shanda here. I ordered mine off of Amazon, but di not recommend that as our stairs came damaged. Do you have a blackout or normal jj? Thanks for the comment!

I have the 17 ft Blackout edition. Do you have to bolt this down or is it easily movable? Thanks for your help.

How cold is it to sleep in at night during the colder months? The beds are over the extensions on the sides, correct? So you have a bunch of air? Some people have told me they're really cold at night? Thoughts?

Hi Armatis. Shanda here. We live in AZ, so we don't have blizzards or anything like that, but do tend to get snow up north. We purchased this primarily so we could camp in the snow. From what I've heard, they can be cold, but with the use of a buddy heater, its warm and toasty. My concern with the buddy heater would be sleeping with it on. My plan is going to be to get reflective insulation material. There have been a few mentions of it in the jumping jack Facebook page. I still need to do more homework. I can tell you, just by the fair weather camping we've done, the beds do get cold, so I will definitely be using reflective insulation there. We are going up north this weekend so we can answer a little better then. No snow as of yet, so can't be positive. I do have friends that swear by theirs in the snow though

@@outdooradventuresofacityco216 Hi Shanda! Thanks for the super fast reply. I was also thinking about putting some kind of reflective material if I end up getting a Jumping Jack trailer. I'd love it if you could update once you go camping up north. Thanks!

Hi! Shanda here. We went camping in the cold. The tent stays warmer than outside, but does still get cold. We used the buddy heater. We did not do the reflective stuff. It was ok. At this point, we are going to get the big buddy that has the fan and give that a shot. If not warm enough, we'll be doing the reflective insulation. We are still in the testing phase to see what is needed for comfort. We slept good with our sleeping bags and 3 pups to cuddle with. Lol

why not put some outdoor carpet on the wood to protect it.

New sub to your channel thank y'all for your review. We're in AZ (Surprise) I'm fixing to pick one of these trailers up. I'm down with a JJ campsite somewhere sometime like David Case said below!! I have a turkey hunt next month April 2022 in Unit 12A. I had to chuckle when you stated sleeping on one side together my response is --> or you can sleep on one side and she can sleep on the other hahaha.

Hey Samuel! That's awesome! Have you decided on size and what accessories you're looking at? Used or new? There's an awesome facebook page for Jumping Jack owners and they are a wealth of knowledge. Thanks for the comment and the subscription

Can it handle a 50-60 mph wind like a Springbar tent can?

It can - been through 2 all nighters with gusts over 50 mph - tent held up fine, didn't sleep much though!

Hey Scott. Shanda here. The steps are MORRyde steps. There are 2 different ones. 2 step model for regular JJ and this 3 step model for the blackout JJ. For blackout the model is STP54-010H. Not sure about the 2 step model.
