I feel ya on that. Those are the hidden gems of this set. I have 2 of the Plains doggy lands. Somehow opened 2 of those from 8 packs I purchased around 2 weeks ago. Not that you care at all about this, but along with those 2 Dog lands, I pulled Muxus, Branching Evolution, and Zurzoth.

I really don't get players who do this. We all get something different out of the game, I understand. I'm just saying opening a booster box of this product just to look for high value cards.... nah, that's something I don't feel this set is for in the slightest. Booster boxes are for DRAFTING. These booster boxes are for PLAYING. The value isn't important. Aren't you even the slightest bit interested in how your Doctor / Elves or Predatory / Vampires decks will do? You dismissed the whole point of this set within the first few moments of the video.

Would have been nice to see each theme’s specific land. Saw the “Well Read” one in the spoilers. For those that don’t know: the first land in each pack is the theme’s specific land. Those are all specific.

Dudits Grey mythic pack don’t have more value its just the category only has one variation and it contains a guaranteed mythic but the fact that Cratherhoof isn’t in a mythic pack just show how getting mythic packs doesn’t matter

These look like a more interesting product than the theme boosters. Unfortunately the supposed supply shortage means most places will probably be charging a fortune for a box.

Most of my area LGS were pre selling for 90-95, soon as the videos of boxes being opened came up/the supply shortage was revealed they raised prices to 125-150 it seems.

I was a bit worried buying one of these, but it looks like it turned out alright. I was hoping to see an emiel pulled cause I suspect it's tied with blessed sanctuary. There aren't many good unicorns but brightmare seems to pair nicely with emiel given you get infinite mana somehow, you can blink it and tap out all opponents and gain infinite life.

Underwhelmed. Will definitely buy singles instead of hunting through boxes for cards I want from this product. Too much risk/commons/uncommons/duplication/luck to justify price per box.

I think you're forgetting about all the sweet basics that come in every pack. You don't get just one like those regular sorry boosters. I'm going to buy a case for the lands and just scrap the other cards or use them for arts and crafts.

I did some digging the day they went on pre-sale and found one for $99.96 with shipping. My friend checked the site 4 hours later and they were up to $107 without shipping. Its insane.

I’m hoping that these get sold by theme because I want to get one of each theme and keep them all like a board game. I kinda doubt it will be worth cracking for singles, but that depends on how much they end up printing.

The different themes have variety within the theme, so you wouldn't get the same exact pack twice

This box may have been lucky but I took the price of every rare over a dollar and the price of the thriving lands (which are about 2 dollars each), looking at the market price of the box and said cards. The box sells for 143 on tcg player And this person pulled 267 bucks worth of cards on the high value rares and thriving alone. This is without including the uncommons which can be break a few dollars in value and without looking at the alternate basic land card art that could have been pulled which are also worth a few bucks. Oh and keep in mind I rounded down the value to the lowest dollar for each card so even the cards I counted were probably a few bucks higher in total value

In my two packs I got with m21 I opened Allosaurus Shepherd(which is going for more than craterhoof) I was happy. Btw if it says elf congrats your making money because it's one of those two.

This product is not about value. It's about taking new players and handing them a couple packs of this and letting them learn the mechanics of MTG around the family dinner table at home. I believe that this is not a product you crack for value ever. It's a fun family drafting product.

Oracle is expensive and the eldrazi lands from this will be worth money because there is only one eldrazi subtype. There are 121 different combos of the sets where eldrazi is only one

Not all of them. As I understand it, themes have rarities, and the more common the theme, the more variations. Rare themes only come in one version.

Question: I opened a pack last night that had mountains. In the basic lands I had one card that the lower box where the logo is, it has a complete red fire back ground....is this a different card? I'm new...
