What an awesome TBR game ( I adore LOTR). I smiled upon seeing Memory, Sorrow and Thorn. Yes, it is indeed a very dense series but so rich and so good. I hope you Iike the rest of the series. Thanks for sharing and I hope you had a great reading month!
You have a great taste then! (For loving LOTR I mean 😂) Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is both of those things indeed. I quite enjoyed the book, even if it was a big job to read it. Tad Williams is a fantastic writer on a level rarely seen these days. Thank you for the kind words and I wish you fantastic month too! 🌸 (Even if it's already another month 😊) And may I just say, love the name you chose for your account! 💖
I was thinking if you wanted to change it up a bit when you get your book haul. Instead of the characters for the challenge cards you could do major locations from the books. Like the shire, the prancing pony, Rivendell, Isengard, Mordor, etc.
Yay! I decided I will play the lord of the reads this month. I didn't get any doubles lol, and I haven't even started on reading any of the books 🙃😅 lol. A readathon or new board game!!!!!????? I'm so excited! I can't wait to hear the details! ❤❤❤ I'm curious to see your thoughts on Into The Wild. I've read it and watched the movie.
Oh, I am so happy you will give it a try! 💖 No worries, you will get to them when you get to them ;) Ah, you will hear more about the new board next time 😁✨ I have been eyeing Into the Wild for months now and I have wanted to give it a try for years prior to it. We shall chat about it soon!
Yeah, I think this is a the most prompt cards I've ever gotten 😅 Thank you, Ash! Have an amazing reading as well (I have your June and July TBR in my To watch later playlist, and can't wait to watch it as soon as I find some time). I was hoping people will like the surprise, I've been sitting on it for months upon months 😊
I'm reading Words of Radiance at the moment and I'm obsessed. I wake up at night craving my book😂. I'm absolutely jumping into Oathbringer right after!
Uh, what a unique & fun concept. Love it ❤ I just found your channel because of the collaboration video with 'library of vikings' & could not be happier about it 😊
Waitttttt I missed the last part when I watched this video. I clicked it away too soon. That reveal! I can’t wait for the next TBR video. You’re so creative!
Hahah thank you for the kind words 💖 Indeed, I was worried people might click away too quickly, but I also didn't want to ruin the surprise by mentioning anything before that 😁
Thank you so much, Chelsey! 💖 This is probably my most favorite hair style so far and it doesn't take too much maintenance, which is great, because I can't be bothered 😅
Yay, for the last mission card! Those double just don't want to leave you alone, the prompts cards either this round. I hope your reads go well. Tad Williams does tend to write densely. I am working my way through the Otherland series by him, and as much as I enjoy his writing, it does take a lot of time.
Thank you, Whitney! ❤️ Indeed, Tad Williams likes to take his time with every scene he writes. And while I appreciate it, I also get a bit fed up at times. I am excited for the next TBR episode, it should be good 😉
Yay! It's the greatest TBR game on Booktube--The Lord of the Reads--full of magic, splendor and wonder! ✨🧙♂️ Congrats on getting the last mission! Looking forward to the new game. So creative! 🎲 I plan to read Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin and Frenchman's Creek by Daphne Du Maurier--two books that I've been looking forward to because they're supposed to have settings near bodies of water, which is something that I've been craving lately. 😆 Happy Reading! 📚🌠
Oh, thank you so much for the kind words, Ash! I am quite excited about it myself ❤️ Those are some solid reads and I am curious to hear what you think about them. I've read some of Martin's more sci-fi fiction, but not this one and by Du Maurier I've only read Rebecca (which I loved). Happy reading to you too! ✨📚
A Midsummer Night's Dream is my FAVORITE. I hope you enjoy it! I'm hoping to continue with Book 2 of the Caraval series! Very excited to see the reveal!
Oh, I am so happy to read that! I am planning on starting it either today or tomorrow (if all goes to plan). I really need to get to Caraval. I read around 40 pages of it (for a reading experiment once) and quite liked what I read. Thank you, I do hope you like it (in about 20 days) 😁💖
I would cry honestly if I had to pick 8 books haha but welcome to my prompt card curse, it's all I've been getting recently and honestly next month I'm gonna force my fiance to roll and move through the board 😂 maybe he's gonna have more variety 😂😂 Oh and the last scene!!! I got goosebumps ❤❤❤
❤📚📚❤️ The number of times I laughed...😅😂 I have The Dragonbone Chair on my list because of you. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the second book. If you have time to read it. 😉 Edit: WOW...a new game !? 😀
Yes, a new one. I wanted to switch things around a bit 😊 Oh, I am so happy that you liked both books! Now I am sure I will too! 💖 Ah, The Wheel of Time... unending saga 😂
This is such a fun concept, I love it! I have a dice "enhanced" tbr video coming up soon, but it's nothing as elaborate as this 😅 So glad I found your channel, I'm loving this!
Oh, thank you so much, Cat! 💖 I am adding your video to my to watch list! And it doesn't have to be elaborate to be fun, there's such beauty in simplicity :)
It's unreal how much I am on the edge of my seat every time you roll those dice 😂 I hope you have a great time with these books this month! And I LOVED the reveal at the end! 😱 Can't wait!
Knowing I'm not the only one sweating when I roll these makes it so much better. Like, I'm not facing those terrible dice alone 😂✨ Thank you so much for the kind wishes! 💖 Oh, next TBR will be so good (I hope)! 📚
Hi! I just found your channel as i'm constantly looking for more fun tbr games to watch. I really enjoyed this video, i subscribed 🙂 Happy reading this month!!!
Masterful editing there 😍 A Midsummer Night's Dream is my absolute favorite Shakespeare play. I hope you love it 😊 No hard feelings if you don't, of course 😅
Oh, Laura! That is so lovely to read! ❤️ Ah, I read it too late, already finished Guards! Guards!, so sorry! 😢 But we can do a buddy read for the following books if you want? I'm so happy you liked the reveal! 💖 I hope the new game measures up 😁
@@libraryunbounded oh don’t worry, with buddy read I basically meant that I was going to read it this month, too, and just compare my thoughts to yours in the wrap up video hahaha. No worries, I’m sure you are busy enough already 😁 And I’m sure the new game will be as great if not better!!
The Rithmatist is sadly not a stand-a-lone. I only found out when I went to check for page count and it says "To Be Continued" at the bottom of the last page. IDK if he's ever going to write the sequel, but I've been putting it off since finding out.
Yeah, I know it's supposed to be a part of a series but, for now at least, it doesn't look like Sanderson is in any hurry to write the continuation of it. So I treat it as sort of a standalone 😊
So happy you enjoyed watching, Kornelia 😊❤️ Yeah, the promp cards were the thing this month, though to be honest, that is usually my favorite. ✨ I really can't wait to read The Rithmatist! I have read Macbeth and Hamlet only but that was a long long time ago, right after highschool so would be nice to refresh my memory soon 📚
Trying to catch up on your videos. Your hair is so pretty! I LOVE the blonde. You are so pretty lady! I watched the movie for 'into the wild' a few months ago. So good but so heartbreaking. You might need tissues for that book too. I haven't read the book so I'm not sure how it is.
Thank you so much, Teresa! That is so kind of you! ❤️ The book Into the Wild is rather sad so far, but mostly because I know how it will end. Other than that the author maintains a certain level of detachment, even though you can see he is as fascinated by the young man as most of the people who met him. That said, I am planning on watching the movie as well and that one will likely make me cry 😅
Who thought up this game??? (just kidding) 😂✨ First of all, I had a double, then I landed on a mission........somebody put there a book by a young author, and let me tell you that no all authors public their year of birth (or I'm just unlucky) so I spent 30 min looking at the photos of the authors from my reading backlog, and tried to pick the one that looked the youngest.....strange but quite enlightening exercise 🤣 (I hope you don't mind me sharing but I just wanted to let you know that I also stick to the rules that are fun 💘 and the reveal was awesome 😉)
Oh, I'm so happy you played the game and I do hope the results are worth it at the end. Indeed, when specific directions are given one can figure out a lot about their reading. Enjoy! ✨
Oh, that is so sweet of you! 💖 And it's all thanks to Amanda, who suggested this rule to begin with. I think it's safe to say that it made the game significantly more interesting 😅
