After spending the night at their longhouse, the Iban people took us trekking through the jungle to hunt for some lunch. We then made fire, and sat by the river to cook primitive and local way, and enjoy our food, Check out this vlog!

Sarawak is more rustic and tribal than the other states. Some people don’t like that but it’s a heaven for anthropologists and naturalists. Not as touristy as Sabah or the peninsula. And, let’s keep Sarawak that way. Every state has its own unique heritage and characteristics. Good for you Steve & Ivana for exploring the Iban longhouse experience.

I concur. I would consider Steve and Ivana to be most qualified to tell what Malaysia is all about. They've now been to all the states/States in Malaysia. Some people vlog about Malaysia but they've never even set foot or even heard about East Malaysia. 😆

I wish you had interviewed some of those tourists that came along with you guys. I'm just curious where they are from and maybe some stories from them could be insightful. Maybe next time.

Yeah I got pranked by the same root by my aunt when I was 10. That bitter taste doesn't leave your mouth for like a day. Still traumatised, doesn't stop me from doing it to other people tho
