Julie, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a napkin as nice as that one is!! Really, those cards are beautiful! I don’t have any napkins, so I’ve never tried this technique, yours turned out sooooo nice! Thank you for a lovely time, I laugh right along you! Erica❤️

I'm loving this project. You are very funny and I really enjoy your videos. Laughter and learning new crafting ideas who could ask for more? I have a little tip for pulling napkins apart that I learned from another Canadian crafter. She uses a small bit of Scotch tape stuck to the back of the napkin and pull! It pulls one layer off, add another little snippet of tape and pull the second layer off. It's so darn quick and easy. No more struggling. Hope you find this as useful as I have.

Thank you so much Jan😁 I'd heard of doing it with tape and tried it with one piece with little success. Your tip about a piece on each side is fabulous. I hope I remember it next time I decoupage 🤗💜

I'm amazed (and envious) of how even you get the borders round those birds. You make it look so easy. I don't get many small birds in the garden but have a family of 4 Jay's here several times a day. The adults only usually come for a few weeks in the early spring when they have their young but this year they are still here in late July.

Thank you Beryl😊 I think it's down to moving the paper rather than the scissors and practice as I'm too frugal to buy mine ready cut😅 Thats lively to have a family of Jays visit, they really are beautiful birds. Wondering where they usually go and why they haven't this year now🤔💜

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Just watching a bit more of this video after cutting the grass. I got some knitting needle point protectors for my glues. They come in 2 sizes so fit all of my glues. Much cheaper than the Sugarbelle ones and my glues haven't clogged since (well the Art Glitter one needs a pin prod ocxasionally)

Insomnia is rampant, I've got board and irritable so I've got back up...it was that or using my hands as monsters and make them battle:D Love the way those wrinkles grabbed the ink! Talking to inanimate objects...I've been doing that for years! lol :D At least I have company in madness it would seem :D Footie...bah! I cant stand it. Don't have it on, mind my neighbour does and he has it so loud (along with his cheering, hooting, stamping, shouting...) that I may as well have his TV on my lap! I just love these little bird cards, they are so sweet....I never use to want junk mail, now I do! lol. Those butterfly's are so cute.

Seems I dropped off and seems I had a huge lie in😘 20 here today, feels like winter after the heat⛄ I intend to spend the whole day crafting after packing my Etsy orders and getting them to the post office using child labour 😘 Hope the noise maker doesn't make too much noise. We've had to welcome peace since the pub behind my house closed and I don't feel bad in hoping it doesn't reopen.😅💜

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns Did you good that lie in! Yeah, its only 20 here to, feels quite lovely, positively chilly even! Child labour can be a very fine thing, I fully intent to send the noise maker to the local Aldi for me, so child labour there to....well 24yr old male labour anyhow! I was just just dropping off when the noise maker happened...again! It would be so nice to find a volume button for him! lol. Awww, must be lovely with the pub closed! I'll keep my fingers crossed it stays that way for you. I used to live over a kebab shop years back, and that was bad enough!

For me a good way to get my napkin layers separated is to press the napkin with a warm dry iron. It separates all three layers easily and as somebody who decoupages napkins on furniture, I don’t like the fold lines in my work.

Hopefully, your stamps haven't worn out waiting for an answer 😅 All i use on mine are Huggies brand babywipes, then soap and water for a good clean when needed. The huggies have no plastic or chemicals in them 😁🤗💜

Julie do you know the name of Tim Holtz’s stamp set you used. You said it was your favorite and it was wrapped in bubble wrap. If not, no worries. It looks like a good one. They are dies Wanda. The ones i used there are by Elizabeth Craft Designs and are from a larger planner die set.
