I had to organize my junk journal supplies in a way that let me put them away on short notice. I don't have a dedicated crafting space for junk journaling so I've utilized carts and other storage solutions to set up a selection of supplies for quick use while storing additional supplies in other parts of my home. I give a tour of my freshly organized carts and containers and hopefully this system will work for me long term!

I used the stacking trays in small, medium, and large on my utility carts. Two of the scrapbooking bin carts are stacked in a closet upstairs without their wheels.

Wow! I love your organization details. Everything will be so easy to find. For 6 months, I have been tearing apart my craft room and organizing and declutterring. Oh my gosh! It looks like something exploded. I have a lot of hobbies, I was doing ok until I got into junk journaling. Wow, I have way too much stuff. Also, I have been experimenting to see if I can figure out my style. So so much stuff. I’m so proud of you for getting so far. I know you will be making changes along the way, but your system seems really good right now. When I have too much clutter, it shuts down my creativity. Have fun! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕

I think organizing is something that does evolve with your current craft or aesthetic. You find yourself reaching for a few favorites but then that changes into something totally different. Since this video my collection has increased but I'm still using a similar system. However, my style is slowly changing and I'm finding supplies I once found exciting are not as fun as they used to be so it is probably time for an overhaul!

great ideas dear ,I have a small room and have been adding shelves to organize my stuff. My daughter bought me a kool stand that has several drawers in it and I have used it for putting most of my supplies for making journals ,I love to be organized too as to find things and use them. Happy to share! We do have a small hobby room in the house but my husband and I use that for something we participate in together so I didn't want to clutter it up with my work supplies. Its kind of nice to pack the clutter away from time to time. I think if i had a whole room for this it would just look like a paper bomb went off at all times!

lol I hear you mine can look really messy when I am in the middle of doing a journal . you have great ideas I love those trolley carts , I have one too for my paints and brushes on .I love the one My daughter bought me as it has 10 drawers on one side and then 5 big ones on the other side so it works great for all journal supplies except some papers .@@GiggleGlitterGraphics

Helpful, yes. The fabric tub looks great. I will try it. My room is a creative room where art & paper crafts complete. A whicker chest of toys & a big German Hutch with dishes, glasses & gifted things are in there. Scrapbook & sewing history 🤦🏻‍♀️ After each project I tidy up, sort of 🙂💗

I'm not sure if any of us really truly clean up, lol. I'm glad you found something you would like to try! My office is full of random things I find at thrift stores or keepsakes I want to enjoy. I also keep my journals on a shelf but ultimately I wanted it to be a calm place to work on creating digitals or other business tasks. That's why the chaos is at the opposite end of the house. It also keeps me from picking at projects when I should be doing bookkeeping or something boring.
